Amazon actually recommended a size up, which was surprising - I love Larace's tops and am usually a solid 4X, but Amazon's recommendations have been good in the past, and it's an overgarment so I figured a little extra room wouldn't be a problem, but I'm glad I took the advice because this 5X does fit like their 4X tops. Which is to say it fits great, and is super comfy! But I don't think a 4X would have had enough overlap for my preference. The cardigan is exactly as pictured. I'm 5'10" with a 30" in-seam and it's long enough for me, so it's probably long enough for you. Finding any type of tops that hang low enough to suit me has always been a struggle, but this hem falls right about where it does in the photo, which is perfect. The upper-arms aren't tight, and I like that the sleeves don't end in a cuff. The color is even remarkably spot-on. I'm so glade I treated my self to this cardigan . I did order a size up so that it would fit after washing. But I don't think I needed to do that. that o.k. because it being a little over sized just adds to is cozy, snugly completely comfy feel. I may have to order another ( or 2) soon.

The ribbed knit is attractive. I usually pass on polyester, but these are pleasantly soft to the touch and keep you surprisingly warm. Pockets are handy, too. Will buy more.

I have the black and the sagey green one. They fit great! True to size and they reach all the way around (despite no buttons) when I'm chilly and hang beautifully when open. Perfect for that in between chill; not too hot, but a good weight over short and long sleeves when a touch chilly. They pack well too; no wrinkles after my cross country flight.
