I Liked EVERYHING about this new addition for my Canon T8i/850D. I can't speak for other camera bodies, but I know it fits perfect on my camera. It was easy to put on. The rubber is soft and pliable but NOT too soft. It allows me the little extra distance, so my nose isn't too pressed in against the camera body and it blocks a lot of background light.
