This bed is cool and definitely perfect for my boys’ racecar theme. I saw the “Cars” brand bed but it was a little too cartoony for me. He loves it… he does everything but sleep in it for now lol still trying to get used to being on his room. Assembly was pretty straight forward. There no words in the directions, just pictures but it was easy to follow. There’s just A LOT of screws and those Allen wrenches are the worst so your hands WILL hurt, unless you can use a power drill. We bought this as our 2 year Olds first toddler bed, great however our son is pretty clumsy yet still and has fallen a million times on it. So maybe wait til your child is more stable then mine lol! Overall I love the quality of the design on the whole car it was pretty easy to put together as well!

We bought this bed for my son when we got pregnant with our second child and needed to move him out of his crib. it was easy for my husband and I to put together, all the parts were labeled well, and the pictures were easy to follow. It is very sturdy and we love the colors and design. We wanted to do a race car theme but did not want to do Disney cars, or a specific character. I was afraid that the sides would not be high enough to keep him in bed when he got rolling around but we have never had a problem. In the beginning he had a hard time climbing over the side to get in and out, but he quickly learned to climb in and out of bed at the end, and he loves to sit on the little step in front to put his shoes on too. It fits a crib mattress perfectly, but it is a little bit of a tight squeeze to tuck his sheets and blanket in, but that wouldn't keep me from buying this great bed again. We knew we didn't want to keep this toddler bed for more than a couple years until he could pick his own theme and big boy furniture, so we didn't want to spend a ton of money. This was a perfect buy for the price as compared to some of the very pricey plastic race car beds. ... show more

This is a cute bed. It’s decent quality and almost all wood. My kid is going to love it. However, it took me two hours to put it together, didn’t include all the tools that were needed, and had me saying aloud “WHY? Why would they build it this way??” over and over again. I am not one of those people who normally struggles with DIY furniture building either, and this should have been super simple.     • Sturdy, safe bed!
My Grandson is spending his first night in his new bed in just 2 days. It's put together very well. He hasn't slept in his bed because we have been trying to find racecar bedding sets. His bed is a toddler bed. It's not a twin. He loves cars and having races. It's a bit difficult to find bedding for it. They have some awesome race car bedding...starting from Twin etc. I'll keep you all posted when he has spent some real time in it.     • Take your time and you’ll be fine
We purchased this for our 3.5 year old for transition from an open facing crib. It came in one large (and very heavy) rectangular box with several wood pieces, all with a small white sticker labeling them with a letter. All of the tiny pieces were neatly organized in a plastic and easy to access. The directions are clear with pictures. However there are many steps and it will take you some time. I spent about 3 hours on this project and tried to make sure I took my time with each step as to make it sturdy and look good. This process worked well and the bed turned out great. I wouldn’t suggest a kid jump on it, but out toddler is rough at times and It seems to hold up fine.     • A great toddler bed!
I got this for my almost 3 year old son. We had turned his crib into a toddler bed some time ago but he had a problem sleeping in it and always ended up in our bed. Since we got this and put it together he has slept in it every night without a problem. He loves it. :) I've had no problems with him falling out of it or being uncomfortable at all. The sides are at a perfect height to keep him in the bed. I love the bench on the front, he sits there to put on his shoes and I leave his PJ's there when I make the bed. Also the headboard is nice and flat, so we keep his clock there and at night for bed we add a cup of water and a night light (those little chargeable tykelights are great) - Mobi Tykelight Glomate Plus . As far as the packaging, assembly and stability goes: The packaging was fine, none of the pieces were hurt or missing. The assembly instructions were clear and it was easy to put together and once together it is very stable. It has a weight limit of around 50lbs (I could be wrong on that, just going off memory) but I've actually had to stand on it several times and it handles it fine and I'm about 3x that weight. The only complaint I have is that 4 of the screw holes were stripped (the wood, not the screws), 2 of them in places that needed the stability. On the plus side of that, I called customer service and they were very helpful. They got me out the new parts immediately and I received them within a week and was able to put them on with no problems. Overall my son and I both love this bed and would recommend it to anyone. ... show more
