I bought two of these. The color (red) looks exactly how it is pictured. Setup was easy. My suggestion is: put a bump on the 2nd button, kind of like braille. I often use my remote without taking my keys out if my pocket. The original remote looks identical but the buttons are more rounded, so it is easier to feel which one is which. Loved the price as I just got a new-used car & one of the key fobs did not work. Very easy to set up even for me as I am 79 years old. The only thing I did not realize is you can't change the batteries so I hope they last a while.

I have been using this remote for three months and I'll say "it works". I received two fobs, the first fob did not work no matter how many times I tried. I thought it was a user error so I tried the second fob and it worked the first time without issue. This fob does not have a long range signal. You have to be within 15 feet of the vehicle and point the fob right at the receiver in the car. I was hoping for better performance but it beats having to put the key in the door to unlock it. On the upper hand the buttons are not fading or wearing yet. Overall I would recommend if you are on a budget. ... show more
