  • Good Machine, Awesome Keurig customer service
We have had other Keurig models and liked them, so last December, when we needed a new unit for a new home (which has less counter space), we chose this model for its small footprint. In using it, we found that the “favorite” buttons, which let you preset 3 different brew settings, are great for our household because we each like our coffee a bit different. Issues started when I did the first descaling process when the machine prompted us to after 3 months. For a few days, it didn’t perform correctly. Then one morning everything was fine again. However, after the second machine-prompted descaling at 6 months, the machine would give us only about 3/4 of the amount of water requested from each of the various oz settings. I tried all of the fixes on the Keurig site and Youtube (except for the ones telling you to take the coffee maker apart. Hard pass on that.) The unit had a 1-year warranty, so I called Keurig on Sept. 19 to tell them of our issues. They asked standard questions about the serial number & so on. After a few minutes, I was talking with an agent about the process for getting a brand new machine with a 1-year warranty. They also sent an email outlining the process. I replied with all of the documentation that same day. They sent another email on the 20th saying a new unit would be delivered within 3-7 business days.   • Died - But Keurig support was amazing
Thrilled to have it...then it died. We didn't have to buy this. We just wanted it. Our old Keurig worked just fine, and all three that we have owned before this are still in use somewhere. So, we used this model at my niece's house and fell in love with the style and the features. We decided to upgrade. Well, actually I decided, and I bought it as an early Christmas gift for my wife. So, this one sat in its box for a while, and it finally got put into use in January. I would love to give it 5 stars, but anything that quits and just flat out dies in less than one year of use gets a bad score. I will be calling them tomorrow to see if anything can be done. I do not even know what the warranty is, but since the purchase date it is over one year I am probably out of luck. It sure is disappointing. This is an update. Keurig support has decided to replace my coffee maker. I am very impressed. I am changing my rating to what it should have been - 5 stars. Perhaps a coffee maker shouldn't die in less than a year of use, but Keurig support was stellar, and you know, there will always be at least a few products from any manufacturer that are duds.   • 10 Times used, no longer turns on!
I bought this for our 48’ Ocean Yacht bc of its small footprint and bc no water sits inside it. So no moldy tasting coffee bc water sat in it for a long time. I probably used this 10-15 times last summer. Now that we’re getting ready for the new fishing season I went to make a cup and it shut off and will not turn on! This is very expensive cups of coffee!   • Broken but Replaced!
This is an update: my current machine is another purchase so I have 2 machines. The original broke down as shown below. But Keurig has kindly replaced it: it is on its way to me - so they have super support. But to cut the hassle, please read of my experience: Well, it is a pleasure to use & I really hope this gets to be known FAST! The nuances of how to use, set up and so on will be figured out by you - it is easy to use. BUT I have a couple of VERY Important points to make. And please do buy it, it really is a pleasure to use. 1. DO NOT USE DEIONISED / DISTILLED Water in the machine. And this is what you will not find out easily: IT DAMAGES THE DESCALING SENSOR AND THE ADD WATER SENSOR!!! So, I bought it and used it - March to September, and it's telling me 'Descale' - so I descale, & it's telling me 'Descale'. I scoured the internet, to eventually find that it destroyed the sensors if there are no calcium carbonate / minerals in the water!! Aside from which, the coffee actually tastes better if there as some mineral salts in the water! Well, I have just ordered a replacement. 2. I have used several reusable pods, even the Keurig reusable pods & the best ones are the '4 Packs Reusable K Cups for Keurig Multistream Technology, LivingAid Universal Fit Reusable Coffee Pods Filters Leakproof, Stainless Micro Mesh Refillable K Cups for Keurig 2.0 & 1.0 Brewers' (Copied the title) as they are made from a tough plastic, clean easily & fit into the normal pod insert which comes with the machine. The other reusable pods have their own holder & it's a pain to have the extra step of swapping over the pod holder all the time. The LivingAid reusable have a built-in area to accommodate the bottom pierce hole for a one time use pod. I am not going to pay 80 c to 95 c for a one time use pod! Save some money! ... show more

  • Works really, really great.... mostly
If you use the cheaper k-cups with the soft plastic then the Keurig will make lovely cups of slightly coffee-ish hot water. You have to manually punch your own holes in the soft k-cup or pour the coffee grinds into another container to brew. It's not a deal breaker but it's annoying. On the plus side: The Keurig did come with a reusable k-cup (BONUS) and the water reservoir is huuuuuggggge. You can make 8+ cups of coffee before having to add water. (INSERT APPLAUSE) The footprint of this machine is quite small and the menu is really nice and versatile. Overall, I give the multistream Keurig four stars. It makes great coffee if you use name brand k-cups! ... show more

  • causes high stress
Always had problems with it and in less than 6 months the entire system went down and stopped working, No power for the unit. who can afford to spend this kind of money every 6 months ? to bad the flavor was better, but 5 needles , sometimes did not puncher thru for brewing. Messy over flow, coffee grounds in cup. happened at least every other day, always un clogging the needles and cleaning the unit, in the morning before getting your 1st cup. I would say a very un reliable system for those wanting their 1st cup of coffee of the day, and even all the time. ... show more
