  • Great Product - Seeing many people with unrealistic expectations
This product works great. I read through a LOT of reviews, both good and bad, for this product and many similar options before deciding on which to buy. One thing I have seen a lot is that people seem to think these small, under 1lb machines will operate as quickly as the giant ones you go pay for at gas stations. If this is what you're expecting, you'll never be satisfied with any model. Airing my van tires up from about 20psi to 40psi takes about 5-7 minutes per tire when using the DC (car power) option. It may be faster if you can use the AC (wall plugin), I have yet to try that way. But it's easy to use, comes with clear instructions, and ultimately gets the job done. Yes, fitting the cords back in their compartments isn't the easiest thing in the world, but they do fit and the whole thing goes back into a convenient carrying case. I kept this in my van over this winter and had no problems using it any of the times I needed to pull it out. Very happy with this purchase. ... show more

  • Fairly decent little air pump
This is a very nicely made little air pump and works well with some caveats. The pump is best used for adding air to tires since it is very slow and would take some time to pump up a complete flat. Also, the air hose is way to short to reach the tire air valve if it is at the top on the tire. The pump would have to be held or set on a support. Finally, the storage space for the AC power cord is way to tight. I fold the cord up and tuck it under the handle so the unit will fit in the carrying case. Still, the fact that this pump has an AC cord is a big plus. Now the only question is how long this product will last. ... show more

  • Should have listened to other reviews...
Despite the reviews I decided to take my chances and purchase this, I was so excited to get it same day. As soon as I got it a read the instructions and set off to use it on my bike tires, I was so disappointed that it didn’t work. There was a small stream of air coming out of it but there was also a small stream of air coming out of the hose. The hose has a hole in it that was preventing a full stream of air to fill up my bike tires. I have decided to return this and just take my bike into the bike shop to get my tires filled up. Was very disappointed seeing as it was a good price and same day delivery. ... show more

  • Loud
It's not worth the price. The compressor hose is too short, very loud, and the area to store the cords is too small. I was replacing a cheap $15 compressor that wasn't very loud, filled faster, and the hose was a lot longer (able to use no matter if the valve stem was at the top or bottom) The only thing I like is the ac/dc option. Returning. ... show more

  • It doesn't work for me.
I tried to pump my car wheels from 26 to 32 psi. It takes approximately 10 minutes per wheel (!) which seems quite long for me. The design is also a cheap one: the pump is extremely noisy (why it is so noisy?). The space for a cable is tiny, so once you take it out, it's hard to put the cable back there. I am returning this -- I think I must have received a defective product. ... show more

  • I spoke too soon.....
Originally I posted a weak review about the product not performing as advertised - advertised at 100PSI, couldn't get it above 20PSI. I was contacted by Kensun directly and told they would replace the defective compressor immediately, so I revised my original position and gave accolades for their customer service. That was apparently a mistake - a full week went buy without the replacement, to make matters worse they didn't respond to emails requesting an update on the replacement (I waited 3 days before questioning them). I finally called Amazon, and after 20 minutes of explaining compressor broke - need replaced, I was able to get them to send a replacement - not due until tomorrow night. Now we've passed day 10 of waiting for a working compressor, and will be 12 before it arrives, and since they always seem to deliver at 9:00PM will be 13 before it can be used. So much for a Prime Membership. ... show more

  • AC part no longer works
As my car's tire pressure warning light came on today, I used this compressor for the first time since I received it September 1, 2019. I used the AC outlet in my garage. It worked for the first tire. While I was pumping the second tire, it sputtered and stopped pumping. I checked the AC outlet and it was fine. I released the AC switch and pushed several times in but it never worked again. I tried it with my car's DC outlet and it worked. Since I purchased it because it can use both AC and DC, and now the AC part does not work, much of the utility for this compressor is lost. Unfortunately, the Amazon returned window had long closed (October 1, 2019). ... show more

  • Bad quality control
Was pretty happy with my purchase when i first used the item on the AC settings and it worked well the 1st few times. Then the AC side quit working. Tried the DC side and it worked for the 4 times i used it then it started to be intermittant, move the box or wire and it would sort of work. So my plan was to send it back but needed it so i opened it up and low and behold the AC hot wire was no longer soldered onto the board. The DC side was no longer connected as well. Appears they had someone assemble this with little solder experience. They had stripped the DC side where ony a could of strands were making contact and the AC side was poorly done. Re-soldered everything that someone had done and both sides now work properly. Nice unit when it works but QC is pretty bad. ... show more
