Lava rock used as a filter medium and works better than gravel or pebbles because of all the holes. Highly advise it’s use.

First time I ordered, they were so small it may as well be pebble size. The second time I got the largest size and they are still way too small. If you are getting these for your fire pit, unless your firepit is a table top smaller model, this will not be what you are looking for. And they are super flimsy and fall apart as you touch them, leaving black poweder everywhere. ... show more

These rocks worked well for my table fire pit. Company’s offer different size rocks, so pay attention so you get what you want!

    • Not as large as stated
The rocks I got in this bag were more like 1/4" - 3/4". I really wanted the bigger size. There were some that were sized as stated, but it appears that most of them broke up. If you really want a better size, order the larger size because you'll get smaller bits from normal breaking apart.
