The shell-case design is not really what I wanted (my bad on this as I didn't realize that's what I was buying til too late), but they hold a charge for a very long time--much longer thab the full-case pair. These are really wonderful earbuds, the 3 Eq function is amazing; and the look and feel of the earbuds and earbud case is very well made. I've made my own pros and cons that I noticed that is keeping this product from being a full 5 stars. PROS: •The noise cancelation is excellent, and it has a snug fit in the ear. Sometimes i have to take one ear piece out to hear the world around me because of the noise canceling. Which I love so much. •The Sound is excellent aswell, the 3 eq function helps alot when I want to listen to a certain song with more bass. The acoustics are very surprising for the price on these earbuds. •The Range is excellent. Most bluetooth earbuds disconnect or get fuzzy after walking like five feet from their phone. But I managed to leave my phone upstairs and go all the way to the basement and have no trouble. Which is shocking to say the least. CONS: •The Battery life for these ear buds are good, but the case charge not so much. I'll use the earbuds for some hours and the lowest they will get is 60 or 50%. Let's say I let them charge up. They are fully charged now, I use them a second time, they are fully charged. After like the third time charging them in the case, the case is completely dead. No indicator that it needed charging or anything. Which leads to the earbuds that were on 60% in the case ;to slowly die there. Point being; putting an indicator or light system on the case to see how much charge is in the case would be nice. • The pairing can be weird at times. Sometimes I have no trouble paring, usually it's instantaneous. But sometimes one earbud will connect and the other won't. Or I'll be on a call, I'll grab the earbuds to be more private. The earbuds will pair to the phone. I'll hear the voice in the earbuds say "Connected" but the audio from my call will still play on speaker. Which can be vexing at times because I have the hang up, disconnect then reconnect, call back and it will work. OVERALL: Like I said previously, these are wonderful earbuds, more pros then cons; However the cons are still there which is why I rated this product 4.5/5 almost perfect but not really; Moreover I would definitely recommend these. ... show more

    • Life proof earbuds! They won’t disappoint!
The media could not be loaded. I love these earbuds! I must admit that I have many pairs from various brands but these Jlabs earbuds are my favorite! I’ve accidentally washed an earbud in my washer machine! It charged right back up and worked perfectly! Also I’ve dropped my Jlab earbuds in the toilet not once but TWICE! After sanitizing them with Lysol wipes and alcohol they STILL work like new! I wear earbuds A Lot! I’m always listening to music and watching videos. Every night I wear earbuds to listen to sleep meditations and my JLabs are my favorite pair.The battery life lasts all night long! They’re also very comfortable and stay put in my ears. You can properly size them to fit your ears with the silicone bud tips included in multiple sizes. I also like that the charger is attached. The price is very reasonable and I would recommend getting yourself a few pairs! Sound quality is great and noise cancellation is pretty efficient for earbuds. I will buy this brand again and again. I actually own 3 pairs of this particular brand/model. I just had to leave this review because of my amazing experience with them! ... show more

Very early in ownership, but initial reaction not great. Firstly, packaging is annoying. Like struggling through an origami class you didn't sign up for. The multitude of earpieces are wedged in and tough to extract without shooting them hither and yon about the room. I'm sure these will die before I require use of a second set. Secondly, these shipped with almost no charge in the carrier or the earpieces. Kind of lame and not the cheap bluetooth earphone industry standard. Thirdly, and most importantly there is no tactile feedback when you press the so called buttons. When so much behavior is predicated on single, double and triple pressing It would be nice to know when you've successfully pressed. Tried a long hold on the right ear after unboxing and nothing happened so I hope that is a dead battery. Hate the 1.5" teather on the charger and lack of case top, but dust shouldn't be an issue as the case will be dangling off a wall somewhere in my office. Not a particularly elegant look. So many cost cutting measures don't inspire hopes for longevity, but many long time users state otherwise. These took almost 24 hours to get a complete charge and now only one works as a speaker the other just skips thru songs. Buttons are the worst I've experienced. Frustrating contraptions will send back. ... show more
