This is the second dog vacuum/grooming kit I have ordered. I have a husky mix that sheds A LOT! He also has high anxiety as he was heavily abused before he was rescued so loud noises trigger him. This vacuum is so quiet, he happily allows me to use it on him. All the tools work great. They are easy to put on and remove. There are multiple suction settings. The only complaint I have is hair catch area. It's easy to unclip the sides to remove the bottom plate however, there is no lip to keep the hair in. You would literally have to turn the vacuum upside down and carry the entire unit to the trash can. Otherwise this is a perfect vacuum for any pet. It is very giftable to any pet owner. ... show more

im so glad to have this machine. i groom both my dogs (yorkies) and i cant stand all the hair getting stuck to everything. this has a quiet motor with adjustable speeds, a nice design with the tank that hold that hair too. ive used one before that pulled the hair directly to the filter and it clogged up all the time. with this one the hair settles at the bottom of the tank. the clipper attachments are not the greatest and dont stay still but im using them successfully. the other attachments are nice too. although i dont use them as much. ... show more

    • Quiet and effective
This is just what we needed for our short hair dog. One would think that a short haired dog wouldn't shed much - but that isn't the case. This vacuum makes quick work of grooming him and getting the loose hair off. Rather to vac it straight off the dog than to clean it off the floor later. The array of attachments is great and there is even a bag to put them all in. The slicker brush is self cleaning - just brush, then press the "clean" button and all the hair goes straight into the vacuum. There's also a clipper that works great and sucks up the hair as it cuts. Need to blow the pet dry? There's an attachment for that too - and on the front of the vac where the hose inserts is a setting for vacuuming or blowing. Best of all the motor is nice and quiet on all three settings so it doesn't spook the dog or cat. ... show more
