  • Excellent commuter e-bike.
Color: Black
First things first, I have got to say that after not riding a bike for years- it has been such a great refreshing memory for me to ride again. I love how the bike looks, there’s a lot of different styles on the market and I was grateful to find this match. As for the comfort- I’d say it’s your average bike seat. Battery life is good, I charge my bike everyday or every other day depending on the day. Lightweight and I’m eternally grateful for that. It’s a nice fit for me, I don’t feel uncomfortable. The bike quality is great, I’m eager to see what future updates they add to their upcoming bikes. I highly recommend this bike for commuting, it’s saved me so much money and the wind brushing against my face while I ride at night is something I feel everyone should experience. It’s very customizable as well. I added saddle bags, a brighter headlight, tracker and a car alarm. ... show more

  • Wheeeeeeeeeee!
Color: Black
I've only ridden it 12 miles, so take this for what it's worth. It's not perfect, but I don't think the cons warrant taking away a full star. Pros: seems sturdy, assembly was pretty easy, super fun to ride Cons: my seat clamp won't hold the seat's nose-down position and keeps pivoting even though I cranked it as tight as I could. I ordered another seat for 20 bucks; also the manual isn't super clear on a few things. I had to figure out on my own through trial and error how to reset the trip counter (press and hold up and down arrows to enter settings, hit the M button until you are at P16, which the manual only says is for factory reset, then tap the up button once and you'll see the trip meter start blinking, then hold it down for about 7 seconds and you'll see it zero out). also, I had to learn how to use the throttle and pedal assist with no instructions. If you have pedal assist on and start pedaling from a standstill on flat ground, it will forcefully accelerate way beyond what your pedaling is calling for, so instead, gently engage the throttle to get up to speed OR turn off the pedal assist until you get to place where it is actually hard to pedal in the highest gear, then turn it on with a single button push. No biggy once you ride it a few minutes. I'm 180lbs and this thing was going 25mph on straightaways. Steep hills needed my help, but not much and it maintained 11 mph uphill with little pedal effort. The battery was at about half after 12 miles of me doing mostly nothing and it was a 1000 foot elevation gain. ... show more

  • Amazing Work
Color: Black
The bike works as advertised. It hits 28 mi/hr, which is incredible. It's also pretty cool that the bike has turn signals, front and back lights, along with the brake lights. The ride is very smooth and this bike can take some rough treatment from the road. Very sturdy and fast. I love that you can tell the battery life from the display and also on the battery itself so you know when to recharge. If anyone is buying a lock a U lock in my opinion is the best lock to secure a bike especially to protect something as valuable as this ebike. I also got a bike cover too just to protect the bike from the snow and rain since I can assure you, it will rust and break down if you leave it in poor condition. ... show more

  • [Update] Very satisfied with my first e-bike purchase
Color: Black
The media could not be loaded. At the age of 43 my wife and I purchased 2 bicycles for leisurely use on the weekends. It had been almost 2 decades I had ridden a bike on a regular basis so I could not go very far without wearing myself out. I decided to look into e-bikes and didn’t realize how many options were available so I spent about 5-6 weeks researching the e-bikes on Amazon + more expensive options available in the Bike shops around Austin. It was pretty overwhelming to say the least. I’m 6’4 280 lbs so I need a bike with a large frame and wheel size. I decided to try the Jasion Roamer because it seemed to be the best fit for a low cost e-bike. Shipping and assembly: I just received the bike 2 days ago and I could tell that it was mishandled by FedEx because the box was in rough shape. The head light and tail light were both on when I opened the box and were very hot so I imagine they had been on for a while. Unboxing and assembly were fairly easy after watching a few videos on YouTube. All the parts were in box but the LCD display mount was broken (easy fix) and the left side plastic casing around the horn/light switch was cracked causing the horn button to come loose. Jasion has sent replacement parts so we’ll see how it goes. Not sure about replacing the switch casing but I wrapped some electrical tape around it for now to make it look cleaner. Temporarily using a phone mount for the lcd display. First impressions: While the bike is a little smaller than I had hoped, I am able to ride it comfortably enough with the seat raised as high as it goes. Let the battery charge overnight and first ride was very surprised by how the bike takes off! All of the areas I was struggling with on my bicycle were now easy to conquer. I’ve only put a few miles on the bike so far but am excited to take it out on some trails to explore places to fly my DJI Neo! Aside from the broken parts, so far so good for a beginner. We’ll see how the battery and motor holds up. [Update 12/7] Received the replacement parts and swapped them out easily so now the original problem is fixed now on to the next. When I first assembled the bike, the battery was not seated flush in the battery mount. It wasn’t bad so I decided not to worry about it. A couple days later the battery would not lock into the battery compartment and was loose. Took it out and noticed the lip that makes it clip into place was chipped. Jasion support is sending a new battery cover directly from China so will be a couple weeks at least until it arrives. Hopefully it is not too difficult to replace. For now I’m using 2 heavy duty zip ties to hold the battery in place. Will update once I get the replacement part. Update 12/17: received a new battery from Jasion and now all issues are resolved. It took some time so if you are using an e-bike as your everyday commuter vehicle, the situation would be much more frustrating but since I just ride the bike for fun, it really wasn’t too bad Waiting a couple weeks to get all the issues caused by the shipping resolved. Still love the bike it’s a lot of fun to ride. I find it hilarious as hell with all the bicyclists giving you the stink eye when they see you riding an e bike on the hike and bike trails. Highly recommended. ... show more
