First time cutting steel. Dropped it in my dewalt 12” sliding compound and it worked fine. It was priced right for the rare times I will need it. Not sure about longevity. Only used it to cut 2 thin wall tubes.

Still can't beat a bandsaw with a good bimetal blade...but killer for doing job site tube cutting.

    • Why did I buy this?
This abrasive blade has no longevity. It only lasted 6 cuts before it was toast. 2 cuts were 1" round stock, 4 cuts were 1/8" steel plates.

    • Not suitable for cutting thin extruded aluminum
This blade was HORRIBLE for cutting relatively thin aluminum used for a picture frame. It may have use for some other purpose, but if trying to make a clean and accurate cut of aluminum, this is definitely not the blade to consider.
