The quality is amazing. The color matches exactly from the original. It makes the interior of my truck just feel nicer. Just like the other reviewers had mentioned, the one issue is the springs. The springs are not as strong as the original springs. I kept my original springs just in case I wanted to re-install them. If I let go of the lid while closing, it tends to slam shut. I did notice that none of these replacement lids have notches for the bungie strap that would hold documents to the inside of the lid like the original. I thought of cutting slots but instead I added the bungie strap to the edges where the lid snaps together. Like I mentioned, the quality is awesome. Does what it’s suppose to. It does not have the slots of the strap that the origami has under the piece. I don’t know if all chevys have that but mine had it. Looks like is for a map or something similar. Anyways It’s not a big deal amd it looks great.

As with any interior part, this one was not hard to install, but you really need to have the proper trim tools to separate the trim ring from the lid. Careful work with a pair of screwdrivers worked, but a plastic trim tool would have been a better choice. Overall the product works great and the color match was spot on. ... show more
