  • The Best Pool To Attract The Chicks - In one day I had over 120 Chicks in this Pool.
Size: 8' 6" x 5' 3" x 25"
The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased this 8.5 by 5-foot kids' pool and repurposed it into a chick brooder, and I must say, it has been an absolute game-changer for raising healthy, happy chicks! Here’s why this pool is a top choice for anyone looking into poultry care: 1. Perfect Size for Chicks: The spaciousness of this pool provides ample room for up to 120 chicks, allowing them plenty of space to move around, grow, and thrive. Its generous dimensions make it an excellent choice for ensuring your chicks aren't overcrowded, which is crucial for their development. 2. Durable and Easy to Clean: Constructed from high-quality, resilient materials, this pool stands up well to the demands of brooding chicks. Cleaning is a breeze thanks to the smooth and waterproof material, essential for maintaining a hygienic environment for young poultry. 3. Versatile and Practical: This isn’t just a pool; it’s a fantastic base for a DIY chick brooder. The flexibility of the pool’s usage is perfect for those who are experimental and innovative in their approach to chick care, providing a secure and controlled environment for the chicks. 4. Excellent Value: Considering its durability, size, and versatility, this pool offers great value for anyone looking into effective chick brooding solutions. It's an affordable investment that pays off in the health and vitality of your chicks. For anyone in the poultry-raising community, this pool is a must-have. It’s not just a functional item for summer fun, but an excellent repurposeable product for innovative chick care. I highly recommend it for its practicality, ease of use, and exceptional results in chick brooding! I use this for my hobby business "Pimping Chicks" a small hobby hatching chick farm. ... show more

  • Quick setup and perfect size
Size: 7' 2" x 4' 11" x 23"
I ordered this pool for a small area in our yard. It was very easy to setup, it's sturdy and very cute. It will be used by our dogs and younger nephews when they visit.

  • Easy and great value
Size: 14' 9" x 7' 3" x 33"
I've used the Intex easy set version for years when my kids were little but this year we sized up to this metal frame option (15x7). Take a minute to see a set up video and you shouldn't have any problems. Two things I learned that I will share. This pool has the smaller 1.25 inch values. If you get a larger pump, like the c1500, you'll need to adjust the valve size by cutting out the small ones and inserting larger valves. This was a bit scary for me but after watching a video it was actually super easy and took less than 5 minutes. The other thing has to do with the ground you're placing it on. My backyard is small and has pavers. So the ground is level. But the pavers have an irregular pattern and one of the support posts was abutting the edge of the paver where it meets the dirt. When I set up the pool, before adding water, all the support posts were on the pavers, though one was barely on. However, when I added water and the kids started goofing around in it, one of the post shifted and "slipped" onto the dirt. As a result there was a serious and scary looking bend in the wall of the pool. The post sank into the dirt making the whole pool lean a bit in that direction. With the pool filled with water it was too heavy to adjust that post so I had to drain a foot or so of water from the pool. That gave me enough wiggle room to fit a brick under the one leg that sat on the dirt. That gave the post the secure surface to sit on so when I refilled the pool it didn't sink and retained its proper shape. What I think happened is that b/c the pool sits on a tarp, the slickness of the tarp allowed the pool/and the posts to shift a few inches and that moved the leg just enough to get get it off the paver and onto the dirt. Once I added the brick support, I went around the pool with an sharp blade and removed as much of the excess tarp as possible, including the sections of the tarp under the posts. With the posts touching the pavers directly, they are firmly place and "impossible" to move so I'm hopeful we won't have that problem again. Anyway, aside from that, this has been great and the kids have much more room to play. ... show more
