I’ve got two JL‘s. I bought a Set of these 30 under diff gears. Put One set in the back axle of one of the jeeps. I was skeptical, So I played follow the leader, modified Jeep vs stock Jeep axles. The faster front wheels On the modified actually made a big difference, climbing over obstacles. They hold the jeep down in the front, preventing it from flipping over backwards. I was really surprised at how much difference It made. The stock jeep would flip over backwards, and the mod just kept going. I would get them for my FCX 24s, But as far as I know, they’re not available. I hope you guys can start making them for FCX. It’s a great improvement. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. In the video I posted, you can see how the rear wheels are spinning slower than the front wheels. I did not want the car to go faster, but I wanted the front wheels to spin faster to PULL the car through turns tighter while forcing the suspension down by stretching out the wheelbase and forcing it up. You can see just how much my car squats from being pulled along and how tightly it's able to turn. This was one of the best mods I did to my deadbolt for improving it's performance on our track. Don't even bother with the servo upgrade if you haven't changed your gears yet. I much prefer to under drive the rear wheels than to overdrive the front wheels so it keeps the speed low. I still have plenty of speed for slippery surfaces if I switch the controller into high. ... show more

Quality Product! These gears fit perfectly and there is no slop. I put them in my SCX-24 and have not seen any signs of wear in the couple of months I have had them. I would absolutely order them again if I ever needed them.

Definitely slowed the rear of my scx24 deadbolt down, helps with climbing over steep obstacles but binds up when backing up or turning, feels like it’s going to burn my motor up with how it’s dragging the rear tires around. Turns a lot sharper than it did with the stock read gears.
