I like this as this is affordable and came with everything you need. I use this as a dual monitor for my macbook pro. Work as intended. If using this with a laptop make sure your laptop has an Hdmi port or like my case I had to buy a powerhub that had an Hdmi port on it. Works great.

The product was as described in the add and was packaged with all the required accessories, including a USB cable for the touch screen and a HDMI cable for the video input. It worked very well and is a great value!

The media could not be loaded. Great little screen! Worked right out of the box. Brightness and clarity are good also. The screen is easy to drive with HDMI input and is being powered by a USB port from the back of my computer. Only think I wish was that the screen backlight would turn off when my co
mputer goes to sleep. The backlight is rather controlled by an on/off switch on the back of the display and doesn't sense if the display is getting a signal or not. Other than that; super happy!

Many people here are looking at these panels for DYI sensory panels for there PC. I spent a lot of time looking at many different panels to try to find better value or at least something that made the most sense for my project. Funny thing is I started off with this panel first and thought there has
to be a better option. Long story short not really even when I considered spend more money. These types of mods get expensive really fast. $80 for the panel, $60 for Aida64 (You can use the trail but eventually you will pay the money because you want everything unlocked), $30 for alternative skinner cords that are longer the moment you see the cords you will want to change them. I knew this from the start so in my mind this panel costs $120 because I got new cords to go with it longer for cable management. Then maybe $5 for the little standoff box to give mounting options but honestly tap could work just as well it's really light. Next you have things like buying a motherboard header to micro USB i wasted more money when I realized I did not have the slot available on my moba. This panel because it's higher resolution and quality does require a fair amount of power. Also I went with the 7" to be honest if you have the space go bigger there was no changes to my temperatures or any impact. I do enjoy looking at it I was thought many times if sending everything back but ultimately it was 100% worth it in the end. Minor Q&A if you use the mobo header it turns off with the PC. If you use USB you can still turn it off with the PC just change one settings in the bios and continue with life. It's the onboard USB power. ASUS Z690-E --->Advanced -->onboard devices and configuration --->USB power delivery in soft state It's pretty similar for most motherboards. Lastly have fun.

Not bad, but I probably wouldn't recommend.
Color: 7IP-CAPLCD
I initially purchased this screen for an in-case sensor display. The short HDMI and USB cables made that work pretty well, but I had a hard time fitting due to the stand-off pegs on the back of this display. After altering my fan configuration, I just couldn't find a good way to get this thing mounte
d in the case, so I ended up using it on the desktop for the same purpose. There seems to be no cases available commercially for this screen (or at least I couldn't find one) so I had to design and print a stand for it that looked better than the little stand it came with (which I hate). The screen seems to work ok, though I do not have the touchscreen enabled (not needed). My primary gripe is that whenever I have this screen plugged in via HDMI to my computer, I get random screen resets on my other monitors - this is being driven by an RTX 3070. I have no issues with my monitors when this screen is unplugged, so I feel like there is some conflict that this screen causes. Having had this experience, I cannot really recommend this screen because it is a major annoyance that I wouldn't wish on anyone.

Decent display, but colors could be better.
Color: 7IP-CAPLCD
Decent display. Slightly lower cost among available 7" hdmi displays. I like the layout of putting the ports in the middle of the pcb on the back, so they are not sticking out the sides. Plenty bright but i don't find good color contrast especially on dark colors. Black is black, but showing gray or
blue on top of black, such as in a console, is difficult to distinguish unless fonts are large. I usually like dark themed desktops but on this display, it is better to use the light themes as there's not enough contrast with dark colors and borders. 1024x600 is better than the Pi Foundation display which is 800x480. However, the 1024x600 is bit odd ratio wise, my pi would always try to set 1024x768, which the display accepts but obviously with weird scaling, thus the fonts are not crisp. I had to create X11 config file (see below) for the Manjaro distro I am using. This file works to force the resolution on the hdmi port (closest to the usb-c power connector, this is hdmi0 on the board, but hdmi-1 in X11). I have not tested the capacitive touch yet. cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-monitor.conf Section "Monitor" Identifier "HDMI-1" Modeline "1024x600" 49.00 1024 1072 1168 1312 600 603 613 624 -hsync +vsync Option "PreferredMode" "1024x600" EndSection Section "Screen" Identifier "Screen0" Monitor "HDMI-1" DefaultDepth 24 SubSection "Display" Modes "1024x600" EndSubSection EndSection Section "Device" Identifier "Device0" Driver "modesetting" EndSection

Does what it says, however
Color: 7DP-CAPLCD
This little monitor worked exactly as described on my pc. However just a heads up if you having a gaming setup and plan to also use a monitor that is 144hz or 200hz or anything higher than 60hz. This little monitor runs at 60hz and will default your other monitors to 60hz as well while both are in us
e. So if you want to use that 200hz monitor for gaming then you will have to unplug this little monitor so it isn't detectable by your pc.

This is the best display I could find to use in my lian li o11 mini. All the 5inch models I tried had horrible viewing angles even while claiming they were ips. This display has great colors and viewing angle and would definitely recommend. I did have to remove my gpu to install it as i have an aio o

Great Inexpensive Monitor
Color: 7DP-CAPLCD
I keep adding items to this build I started almost two years ago. With that, I've been wanting to add a sensor panel for a while. I have a Meshify 2 case which I left the plastic panel on since I’m not using any HDDs in my case. I ended up using different cables due to how far away the monitor sits f
rom the back panel. I applied some double sided tape to the HDMI connector and cable. It sits perfectly. I’m trying to figure out Aida64 and will eventually have a custom layout. I would definitely recommend this panel. Both the HDMI and the USB connectors are recessed enough and away from the edge which made it easy to connect and cable manage. I’ve purchased a USB adapter so I can power it from the MOBO and not have to route it outside the case. I’ll add additional pics once I get my layout completed.

Pretty good. Sharp and bright. Small issues.
Color: 7IP-CAPLCD
Before I complain, let me open with this is a good little screen. It's sharp and bright. I have it at 50% brightness and that's just right. The triangle stand is also pretty neat. It's a cheap piece of plastic, but it works well. I like it. The screen also comes with USB and HDMI cables. And a HDMI t
o micro HMDI adapter. They didn't need to do that, so that's icing on the cake. Based on my shopping the screen is also a little cheaper than a lot of the 7" pi screens. All good. My two nit-picky complaints: The pictured stand is black. The screen shipped with a white stand. Also more importantly, the screen is not centered horizontally or vertically in the case. It all looks and feels well put together, so the (very) off center positioning is kind of odd. A little annoying but I can get over it.

The media could not be loaded. Works exactly like a regular monitor! Just plug it in, flip the little switch on the back, and you're good to go! Looks great and the inset connection ports make hiding cables super easy. I mainly got mine to have fun with random wallpapers and memes. Mounting can be ch
