  • A Very Good Carrier
Upfront notice: I'll come and revise this review after I've worn it for a longer stretch of time. My first reaction to this product was, holy crap that's a lot to adjust. BUT, don't let it intimidate you. The instructions only guide you. Once you start adjusting this thing from narrow seat, to wide seat, to front facing yourself, you'll have it down fast. It takes actual practice adjusting it, not just reading the instruction booklet, to get comfortable with it. I love the front-facing-out option. I got this structured carrier for the back carry, not expecting to care about the front-facing-out carry, but uh, it's something I didn't know I needed. My 8-month-old LOVES to face out. And it's STURDY. I mean, rugged. She's hefty. She's going on about 17-18lbs and very chubby. It's roomy, comfortable, and very easy on her skin. I love the fabric. I love the colors. Visually, it's a pretty carrier for boys/girls/whatever. Grey is like my favorite color, so of course I love that. Also, big bonus: big girl friendly. Momma chunky. Chunky af. I'm a 2XL, with a larger stomach from having 2 kids and loving food. It FITS. It could fit someone far larger than me, too. The waist strap can kinda dig in, but that doesn't bother me personally. I'd rather that than have lower back pain like I get with my sash-wrap-carrier and Moby. Back to this carrier. Try it. Seriously, go for it. I got an Amazon Warehouse "Good" rated product for only 27 dollars US. I saved SO MUCH MONEY getting it used. And it said on the rating that the product would have cosmetic damage. This thing is untouched. The tags were present. Maybe it was used as a carrier to try on before buying or something, somewhere? I have no idea. It's never been used, though, as far as I can tell. Budget friendly. Back friendly. Baby friendly. Bigmomma friendly. If you want a good carrier to try, try this one. It does look like a puzzle at first. It is a little extra af to try and mess with initially. But it's damn sturdy and damn good especially for the price. ... show more

  • Great product
I love this, it's easy to change from forward facing to outward facing. It distributes weight well. And is comfortable. It's easy to get on and for some one with a larger chest isn't awkward. It keeps babies legs well supported and in correct position, if guide is followed appropriately.

  • The adjustments are easy and the entire carrier is not nearly as bulky ...
UPDATE: I have worn it twice and both times it cut off circulation to my son's legs. He's a tall 7 month old, so maybe the carrier no longer supports him knee to knee like it ought to. I hope I can return this. I really appreciate the forward facing "seat" that unsnaps from the waistband and snaps to the body of the carrier to support baby's hips. The adjustments are easy and the entire carrier is not nearly as bulky as other much more expensive carriers. The shoulder straps are padded well enough for me, and while the straps between me and baby make summertime wear a bit sweaty, it helps provide structure to make loading and unloading baby a breeze. I bought this to be my spare to keep in the car, but I may end up using this most of the time over my other carrier. ... show more

  • Good for baby, not for parent
I got this carrier with the high hopes of loving it. The colors are great, and the little "seat" that is formed by clipping some fabric underneath my baby's bottom was awesome. I really liked this feature and my little guy seemed to be very comfortable in the facing out position. However, after just a few minutes, the straps were digging into the back of my shoulders and I had to take it off. I am returning this item because of it. I much prefer infantino's other (less expensive) carrier found here: https://www.amazon.com/Infantino-Flip-4-in-1-Convertible-Carrier/dp/B00M0DWQYI That carrier is super easy to switch from forward facing to facing in and is much more comfortable in my opinion. Hope you found this helpful! (Side note: I've tried ergo baby, baby k'tan and lillebaby and still go for the infantino based on how easy it is to use.) ... show more

  • Best of the 30 other baby carriers I've tried
Let me start out by saying that I have purchased just about every stinkin' baby carrier on the market including LILLEbaby COMPLETE All Seasons 6-Position Baby/Child Carrier, Bill Amberg London leather shearling baby carrier, Moby wrap, Sunve baby carrier & hipseat, various ring slings, BabyBjorn, carrier, custom mei tai carrier, Infantino ZIP, Konny baby wrap sling, and many others that I've already given away. This carrier actually fits me--I have a short torso which always seems to cause issues--and is comfortable for extended wear in all positions. My 6 month old baby enjoys riding face out, face in, and on my back and usually falls asleep within minutes in any of the positions when tired. I've done gardening work, taken walks, and sat at my desk working for long hours using this carrier and have been very impressed with it's usefulness. Our family helper also says it's comfortable on his over 6' frame. There are only three downsides in my opinion which are minor enough to me to still qualify for a 5 star rating. The first is that it is tough to get baby out of the forward facing position without disconnecting all the fasteners. It's a lot easier to just unfasten everything while carefully keeping hold of baby. Secondly, I wish that the cloth at the top that folds over in forward position and that the head rests against in inward facing position was removeable. My baby spits up excessively and has already badly stained this green fabric. It would be nice if it was washable. (I guess I should check to see if the whole carrier can just be thrown in the wash which would make this less of an issue.) Thirdly, this carrier is pretty warm so expect to get sweaty while wearing in moderate to warm weather. This is true of pretty much every carrier on the market simply because you have a warm little body against yours so not so much carrier specific. Overall, if you've tried practically every carrier on the market and still haven't found one for you, then I'd strongly recommend this one. The cost of this one is much lower than many competitors and I don't think there's a better forward facing leg position better than this provides. I was not compensated in any way for this review and am just thoroughly impressed by this carrier and plan to use it for years to come! P.S. For reference, I'm an average sized woman, 5'-6" with a short torso and narrow waist with curvy hips and wide shoulders. ... show more
