This is night quality and love that it’s all rechargeable and plug in for receiver on the wall. What I didn’t like is that the collar is too big for my yorkie. If you have a small dog, order the pet safe one. It has a smaller collar.

Got this to keep my 65 pound senior lab from stealing the cat's food when we're gone and it works great! I tested out the initial shock setting on myself to make sure it was okay and I think it is a good deterret for medium sized dogs and up. I agree with some of the reviews that it is too powerful for a small cat or dog. Pros: good price, easy instructions, easy setup, movable equipment, deterrent that works, multiple levels to try in case initial shock level is not enough Cons: none so far as this product works as intended If anything changes, I will make sure to update my review. ... show more

    • Gives random shocks when near metal
This would have been a great training tool except it will go off if your pet gets near anything metal! So i had to return it. I personally like that its rechargeable although I wish it could be made smaller and lighter for smaller pets like cats. Easy to use.

    • Instant fix for a large dog
We moved into my father's house for 3 months while buying a house of our own. During that time my 4 year old dutch shepherd learned from my father's dog he could get food if he jumped up on the counter. I was at my wits end with the dog. Never had the problem before and after he learned food was on the counter he couldn't be left alone without jumping on the counter and tearing the place up. Put this collar on him cranked it up to the max setting, set the box to 9ft and went outside for an hour.     • Works but needs improvement
I bought this because I could buy extra sensors for it. It works well but I wish I could make the range shorter as my dog still needs to be able to walk by the areas. I put one above the cat box to keep him out of and one for my kitchen counter to keep him off of it. But he can't even walk by either with out triggering it. Also the signal will go through a interior wall. Meaning he can trigger it on the opposite side of the wall. However it has kept him off the counter and out of the cat box.     • Only one that worked
Tried several different ones for a very strong willed shepherd puppy. She’s training well with this one. Bought an additional one for a different room, it worked so well. Transmitter wasn’t available to purchase by itself so I have a backup collar..always have one fully charged.
