I needed something right away so bought these, figuring I would replace in the future if they were not good enough. they do the trick. Made out of solid particle board. Not cardboard. Very sturdy.     • Worked surprisingly well
We’ve had to tolerate a terrible sleeper sofa for years when we visit relatives. The nylon mesh platform of the sofa means we both slide downhill into the middle of the “bowl” that forms. We added a nice latex topper, which helped some. But the bowl problem remained. Once we added this board, things were much improved! It was still not what I would call comfortable, but the board kept things mostly level so we didn’t slide into the middle—a miracle! The device itself is nicely made. It’s not super heavy, but is still quite rigid. And the way it folds up in 3 sections makes it easy to store. In fact it can fit right under the couch cushions on some couches. ... show more

This is super cheap for the price. The boards are low-quality and are clearly easy to break since it came with all the boards broken right in half. It was the right size for our Queen sleeper sofa but we returned it since it was broken.

    • This bed board works
This 3-panel bed board makes our thin sleeper sofa mattress much more comfortable. It’s shorter than the mattress, and at first I thought that would be a problem, but it’s not at all. It’s very heavy, but it definitely makes the soda more comfortable.

I put this under my kids queen, platform bed. It didn't cover the entire base/slats of the bed (which is a queen). That was disappointing. I decided to keep it anyway because... 1) it's a kids bed and 2) it's still a solid base (even if it doesn't cover the entire base)...

    • No more hump
Perfect for sleeper sofa, this eliminated the dip and feeling the bar in the middle. I thought purchasing a new mattress would help but not completely. This eliminated stiff back and neck in the morning.
