I purchased this phone holder in September and although it looked great, I waited to review until I had time to truly test it out. Well, I could not be more satisfied with my investment!! The device is built with nothing but quality materials and works wonderfully. I’ve owned over a couple of dozen phone holders in the past but none have held up for more than a couple of months. This one is built for the long haul. Mounted on the frame of my Clark forklift, it grips my phone throughout the day and keeps the screen visible safely in front of me.     • Perfect for my work truck
I have it mounted in my Dodge Ram Promaster work truck and it works perfectly. I used wood screws and mounted it to a makeshift shelf I built in the cab and it holds my phone steady for easy navigation. Pricey, but worth every penny.

Some phone holders are super complicated to use, but this one is pretty straight forward. Holds my phone and doesn't budge, easy to attach and remove my phone too. I can easily do it with one hand. I chose this particular holder because I was sick of the suction with other products and their cheap design. Although you would have to drill holes to use this, for me personally in my jeep this works the best. I have it mounted near my shifter and it holds my phone as it should even offroading too. ... show more

I’m a truck driver I’ve purchased so many different phone holders over the years and I’m always disappointed for one reason or another till I found this one it’s so strong and never gets loose I’ve purchased 4 for all our cars any other holders always gets loose or break you air vents or fall off windshield ... show more

    • It's an M1A1 Dash Tank!
It couldn't be any sturdier if it was made out of stainless steel! Getting the phone out of the mount can be a bit of a fumblePhuck but other than that, it works great! I use the Magic Earth Navigation map app in my Android (I'm anti Google all the way!) and it includes an automatic dash cam recording system. Had a lot of trouble keeping the phone from bobbling about with the other systems but not this one! Best $39 I spent this week. Good job guys! Well done. ... show more

Sorry for the nighttime pictures.. drill 4 holes, add self tapping screws, bam the mount doesn't move an inch.. NOTE: this cell phone holder IS NOT AN AIR CHARGER ALTHOUGH I'm using an IPhone SE, this HOLDER IS INTENDED FOR ANDROID PHONES I BELIEVE I have several rubber bands wrapped around the holders to properly fit my IPhone SE OTHERWISE.. Not a bad mount, it's just hard to obtain the proper tightening so the phone doesn't wobble around ... show more

    • So, not great... and here's why:
I tried not one of these things, but three. I'm no quitter so I waited until my $1000 iPhone got completely obliterated before I decided to go with a different company. To hold any of iBolt's many, many configurations (and there are many), in your hand- they feel sturdy, well thought out, constructed of solid materials... and they are I'm sure to a certain degree. But where they fall flat, is unfortunately precisely where it counts. Firstly, the 3M adhesive pad is UTTERLY USELESS and should be replaced with something else or nothing at all. I tried 4 or 5 of these things over a 4 or 5 day period, on 4 or 5 different surfaces- and EVERY SINGLE TIME the pad failed causing the mount to fall off. DON'T USE IT. Go with the suction cup or AMPS mount and bolt it in. BUT... First consider this: Do you really need this heavy duty a mount? If the answer is, "Yes!" I would direct you over to RAM MOUNTS. They are a hair more expensive, but do a much better job of holding your expensive devices in place. I ride a motorcycle so it is EXTREMELY important that my phone stays in the mount. After I saw that the 3M pad was going to fail, I pulled the trigger and bolted the iBolt mount to my windshield. It held my phone for a total of 10 minutes before I hit a pothole going 60mph and there went my phone. The spring loaded jaw that holds the phone in place is way too weak to hold a phone in place in a moving vehicle. Had I been in a car, it would have just fallen on the console or on the floor and I'd still have that phone- but had I purchased a phone mount for a car, I'd have gone with some $15 generic magnet mount or similar. Which brings me to my point- These things are not as "heavy duty" as the price and description suggests. When you spend $40 on a phone mount, you expect it to deliver, and I spent far too much money, research and time finding out that these things only work well in theory, and unfortunately not the real world where us and our expensive electronics actually exist. (I ended up going with the RAM "Quick Grip" XL for my iPhone 11 Pro Max and I am very happy with it thus far. It has a similar but far superior design. In addition to four pegs that hold the phone in place, it has a jaw that bites West to East, rather than North to South. So when you roll over bumps and the vehicle (or bike) bounces up and down, the jaw does not open and drop your phone.) ... show more
