This is without a doubt the best mug I have ever owned. It is well built, feels very solid all around, and the insulation is incredible. If I keep the lid on, a hot drink poured in the morning will stay warm all day and the outside surface never gets hot. The lid is rubberized and grips well, enough that it definitely won't come off on its own while still being relatively easy to open with a small tab sticking out. The underside is slightly grippy, enough that the mug won't slide on a marble countertop or glass table, and similarly the handle coating has enough friction that the mug won't tip and spill even if you have wet hands. The lid can be taken apart in two pieces and put back for cleaning, and there aren't any places that are hard to clean or where food would stay stuck. The only "downside" I would call out is that the mug does not fully seal even with the lid closed, there is still a small gap where liquid can flow through. This means you cannot use it as a small alternative to an insulated water bottle: do not place it in a travel bag with liquid inside, the "closed" lid only protects from spills when you walk to a different room with the mug, it will not hold its contents while traveling. In summary: this mug was clearly designed with great attention to detail, and its insulation is like no other. I wish I had bought one earlier. ... show more

I was gifted one of these a few years back and realized that everyone needs one! I bought 4 in various colors (depending on the recipient) and gifted them as Christmas gifts! Something I wrote on their box was 'the best mug you'll ever own,' and then let them be the judge. I can brew my coffee at 7am and it's still very warm in my mug by 12pm lunch (effective on the larger size mug, as well). The finish is sleek and comfortable in your hand, and I tend to hand wash mine but it's also been thrown in the dishwasher on many occasions and is just as new. The lids is comfortable and easy to slide - when it's kept closed, the coffee tends to stay hot longer. I always recommend this mug if anyone asks me about it who sees me carrying it! The quality is great - I've had mine for years and looks like I just bought it. The various sizes and colors are a huge plus - and did I mention it keeps ice cold, too?? If it's very full, you'll want to be careful not to turn it upside down or on it's side for long because it can start coming out of the mouthpiece on the lid. Overall A++ ... show more

I wanted to get my husband and I a new cup to take with us in the morning for work. We’ve been using regular mugs and I wanted us to upgrade to something with a lid lol. Since everyone is doing pros & cons, allow me. Pros: 1) it feels great to hold. the material on the outside makes it nonslip and very comfortable to hold. 2) it keeps drinks hot/cold for a long while. i don’t drink my morning coffee very fast so this is nice. 3) it is dishwasher safe! which makes it very convenient to wash with ease. despite what anyone says in the comments, i read the little paper that comes in the box which said it was. my husband & i are also hydroflask girlies & we wash our hydroflasks in the dishwasher all the time. 💀 4) it might not be a pro for some but you can do hot or cold in this tumbler. some tumblers you can only do hot or only do cold and i like to switch between a hot or iced coffee. Cons: 1) it is a little hard to find lids for. i bought a lid for my mug that was a straw for iced drinks and it was the wrong size. since then, i haven’t been able to find anything similar that is not a screw top. 2) it does leak IF you tip it & keep it tipped. and it’s not a lot when that happens. it mostly comes out the mouth piece, which is expected. i haven’t had any major issues with mine and i drive with mine in a cup holder almost everyday. The mug is really good at keeping my tea warm, especially during my commute. That being said, I bought it mainly to use as a travel mug since it 1) has a top and 2) is insulated. I should have looked at the dimensions more closely because it doesn’t fit in my car’s cup holder, which is in the main reason I bought. It sloshed quite a bit of tea onto its self and my cup holder while driving. Too late to return it now so I think I’ll just use it around the house or when I can hold onto it while going on. Solid which justifies the price. Gorgeous soft pink color was my choice and I love it. So comfortable to hold and to drink out of. Love the comfortable handle. Keep drinks hot or cold for longer than you will remember what you put in it..Lol. Very happy with my purchase. Also bought the 20 oz tumbler which is also great. If you're the type of person who drinks coffee by the pot or likes to make two bags' worth of tea at once, these are fantastic mugs. I love them. I wish they were cheaper, and I wish they came in different colors. But anyway, they have all the normal hydroflask benefits.... keeps my morning coffee warm for hours, and much hotter than other mugs. The slider lid is OK...
