Light weight, easy to carry! I love using this on my long runs and its easy to get a drink. Does not leak! Perfect for carrying during long runs! Highly reccomend this! Does not have a plastic after taste! 18 oz is just the right amount!

The flask itself is pretty good. The handheld strap, however, is worse than useless. The material is rough around the edges, literally, and is narrow, so a full flask digs into your hand more than it should. I ended up repurposing an old Orange Mud handheld, which works far better. Hydrapak, take note. The "speed" flip-open lid is a bit of a gimmick. Another reviewer pointed out that keeping the lid attached means you’re less likely to grab the wrong one at a race aid station, which is a fair point. But the tab is so stubborn that I usually just unscrew the whole thing out of frustration, making the flip-top feature useless. And even if you do manage to pop it open, the spout is much narrower than the actual flask opening, meaning ice cubes are pretty much out of the question—so much for insulation helping with cold drinks. Not that it matters much, since the insulation does not seem to make a noticeable difference anyway. On the upside, the insulation does make the flask more structured, which helps when tossing it in the dishwasher. If you’re thinking about getting one, save yourself a few bucks and skip the version with the strap. ... show more

Overall it’s a good lightweight water bottle that is easy to drink out of while running. It works best during my recovery and long runs. This is a major downgrade from the previous designs. The thumb loop itself isn’t bad at all, it’s the main strap. The main strap is hard and abrasive on the skin making it itchy to wear and causes redness. The sides of the Velcro are what is ruining this, it’s way too hard. The snap closure system on the top is worse then my old model one is, the old one gives a satisfying click when closed and dosnt require too much force to close it, the new one takes a solid amount of force without even getting an audible click when secured. I love this water bottle. With the OK heat this summer, running has been rough. I typically don't carry water in cooler temps, but found myself overheating and needing hydration. Tried a Nathan's bottle, and it was hard to squeeze to get water out while running. Also, I had to hold it in my hand. I am not a fan of holding things or having things, like a vest, on my body while I run. This water bottle is easy to hold in your hand though and I really like the collapsing feature, which makes it easier to get water out and to carry the bottle when its not full (no sloshing!). I actually expand the band, throw this over my shoulder, and wear it more like a backpack for the first half of my runs. I'd def recommend it.
