Solid metal rod. Good enough for DIY projects, metal rod is sturdy. Black plastic tip are ok quick bad part is the connector rod is Plastic too and flimsy. My order was missing the hard ball tips.

    • Sturdy handle, flimsy tips
The handle was all that I expected, sturdy and well made, but the tips left a lot to be desired. They were all made of a hard plastic (nylon or ABS?) including the threaded part, which broke easily. Unless you can be sure of not applying any side force on the tips, they will likely break off and you'll need to use a screw extractor to remove the threaded part from the handle. The ball tips with steel thread inserts were much better, but I need to buy some rubber tips. ... show more
