This is a styling tool you can use several ways; the curling barrels are not for me (I can not get used to them/figure out how to make them work that is easier than just a curling wand) The brushless dryer is awesome/fast and high powered, but it has a very loud high pitched sound that is a bit much for me. I think it's great to travel with when you need a few things but don't want to pack every tool but I think it's too painfully high pitched right by my ears for daily use. ... show more

    • Fast and Versatile Styling!

I was so excited to try this new hair styling system! For reference, my hair falls below my shoulders. It's naturally wavy and tends to be coarse and frizzy. It's relatively thick. To begin with, I really love this dryer! The motor is in the handle instead of the head and it's very lightweight. The motor is much quieter than my older style dryer. It's easy to move the dryer around without my arms getting as tired as they normally do since the dryer is lightweight and also because this particular dryer, dries my hair faster that my traditional style hairdryer. The handle has 3 levels of adjustments for heat and 3 levels of adjustments for air speed. The product description does state that there are 12 levels of air flow adjustment, maybe I'm missing something but there seem to be only three to me. I use the middle setting for heat and the lowest setting for the air speed on my hair. I start drying my hair with the round dryer attachment until my hair is about fifty percent dry and then switch to a round brush attachment. The round brushes work just like the blowout style of drying your hair with a round brush and dryer but faster, easier, and with less arm fatigue. This set includes two sectioning clips that work well and I do use them when drying and styling. The attachments are easy to take on and off the handle with a press of a button. The attachments do get quite hot. Fortunately, there is an included heat resistant glove for handling and removing the hot attachments. The curling attachments work perfectly but don't give me the look I want from a hair curler. My long coarse hair needs something with a larger diameter and with ceramic in order to reduce frizz. The attachment grabs the hair easily and curls it quickly but it would take me quite along time to curl my whole head of hair with these curling attachments. They grab about an inch of hair at a time. This isn't a product defect, if you have naturally thinner or smoother hair then this might work great for curling your hair. Unfortunately, it just doesn't work great for my hair type. I appreciate that this set includes a storage bag for both travel and storage. I am looking forward to taking this set with me the next time I travel. I will only need to pack one handle and a couple of attachments which will take up less space than packing a dryer AND a styling appliance. It will also weigh less making my luggage lighter. Even though the curling iron type attachments don't work great for my hair type, I still really love this set. The dryer and styling brushes work fast and give me the smooth straight look I want. They are perfect for travel and are much quieter than my other styling tools. Overall, for me this set is a great addition to my hair styling routine! ... show more

I have pretty short hair so I know I'm not the target audience for a tool like this, but I was still excited to try it out. I typically use the Revlon One Step Volumizer blowdry brush and love it. I was a little skeptic about this tool, but ended up being very pleasantly surprised. The blowdry attachment dries hair much faster than my standard dryer, although the stream of air is quite narrow, so you have to move it around a lot. Both round brush attachments work very well, one adds volume and one is more for curling. My hair did get caught it in the bristles a bit and it was a little hard to rotate as I was drying with it. I think that's because it's new. I had the same issue with my Revlon one, but after a few uses, it got better. The curling wand attachments are nicer than I thought they'd be, but you definitely want to use very small sections of hair. It can't hold larger sections and the hair just falls out. It does add a very nice curl finish. The glove and hair clips were also a very nice addition, as the glove is quite necessary. The attachments get hot, especially when trying to swap them out mid-styling. And it comes with a nice bag to store everything in, which I also appreciate since there are so many pieces. My hair ended up having a lot of volume and very little frizz, which is saying something because I have wavy/frizzy hair naturally. I definitely need to practice with how to use the air wands, but once I figured it out, it worked well. With competitors' pricing, I believe this is worth the money and does the job just as well as others. I love the 3 different heat settings (4 if you include the cold setting) and the 3 different wind settings. The round brushes were great. I wish the actual hair dryer part came with a diffuser or a way to spread out the wind because it is very small. But it does the job! I would recommend for sure. ... show more
