Honestly, I haven’t hung anything on these yet but I did adhere them to a smooth shower tile and after 48 hours it is still holding! I don’t imagine these could hold more than a wet wash cloth but that’s probably what most people use it for anyway. I’m impressed so far. I will update if it cannot hold my soap in a soap saver. Unfortunately there is no towel bar or hook anywhere near my shower. These have solved that issue and look like they are installed/permanent. Unlike other "suction" hooks these really stick. These are great! Very useful. The big "if" is that the surface you want to suction to must be VERY smooth. Our shower has tiled walls. Some of the tiles have just a hint of grain/texture. One has stuck from the beginning with out issue. The other continues to fail when placed near areas with greater texture. Overall, I give it a 4. Didn't use the adhesive that is included for different materials as just wanted it to be the suction part. The first few days they kept falling down but if you keep tightening them a couple times a day they eventually stay. Haven't fallen off again since the first week.

I have smooth tiles, and the hooks did not stay adhered to the tile. When I used the sticky base, the hooks worked great. I love these, and it is important to not drill holes in the shower wall.
