My son is 4 but reads at a 4th grade level and is learning 1st grade math and writing skills, plus has diverse interests in science, etc. It was really hard for me to find something that was at his academic level but also at his attention span level. This was a perfect “curriculum” for us this year. It’s designed as a supplement, so it’s not a complete curriculum, but it was really helpful in guiding me to know what concepts he needed to learn and in what order. We used it alongside tons of library books and the Khan Academy Kids app. My son loved that we got it in a colorful box in the mail and had lots of incentive stickers and fun activities included! Ordering directly from Highlights was literally impossible online and their customer service is not helpful, so I was really glad to be able to order through Amazon. We’ve already received our last box and I am so glad I chose to invest in this.

We homeschool our preschooler and he loves this box, even my 2 yr old had fun getting to learn to trace and learning letters and numbers. Its good value for the money too cause the books alone would be a lot more than what is included in this box.
