I needed a clamp meter while I'm replacing some outlets and switches in my house and came across this meter from Nasedal. I need it to let me know if the wires I'm working with are live, and what voltage is running through them. It does exactly what I need it do. The LCD display is easy to read and it's easy to switch between functions. I tested it on some 110 VAC wires and compared the readings to my Fluke meter - both meters read the same voltage. I used it for some continuity of wires, so I don't cross the wires and it worked perfectly. I love that it has a flashlight that my other meter doesn't have. I can make sure I'm testing the right wires in low-light conditions. I don't know how rugged this would be for a full-time electrician, but I'm not an electrician, so this should last me quite a while. Overall, I really like this meter and recommend it to anyone who needs to check wires, so you don't electrocute yourself like I've almost done a few times because I didn't know if the wire were live or not. Now my wife can rest a little easier knowing I won't electrocute myself. ... show more

    • Clamp Meter is a Good Find
Not a bad little clamp meter. It does everything it’s supposed to do, and so far it does it well. The display screen is easy to read, even on the lowest brightness level. Cycling through the meter functions is easy as can be with just a press of a button or two. The meter comes with a pair of test leads that aren’t the worst I’ve used, and are fine really. It also comes with a thermocouple for temperature measurement and a short type c charging cable. I also very much appreciate the included soft carry case. It is roomy enough for the meter, the test leads, the thermocouple and the charging cable. It’s a good little package. I grabbed this multimeter for one reason, which was its ability to measure AC and DC current via the clamp.It does these things quite well, but even better, it does everything quite well. When checking its accuracy against many of my known accurate meters, it’s spot on. I say, if you’re looking for an accurate, compact meter that has all of the usual functions you’d likely need, then this is probably it. I’m impressed so far, and I can recommend it, though if you shop around you’ll likely be able to get the same meter for significantly cheaper. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This meter works nice for a basic entry level meter. Good meter for people that don't know much about how to use these as it auto switches modes. The modes can be changed manually too with four front buttons and a side button. The side button is not marked but changes to the clamp on amp mode each of these has a lower and higher range. ... show more

    • Checks all the boxes of what to look for in a multimeter
I am not an electrician by any measure, but I am a determined DIYer who can follow explicit written instructions specified by reputable repair manuals. I've needed a True RMS clamp meter in order to comply with various repair manuals. So the first question I needed to answer once I acquired this meter is if it is sufficiently feature-rich and measurement-capable. In order to find out despite my enormous ignorance, I watched a boatload of YouTube videos by electricians who produced videos about what to look for in a multimeter. The electricians explained what features and what specifications to look for in a multimeter, and how to determine if your meter has the requisite range and sensitivity, I would pause the video and replicate each test that they described using this meter. I didn't check capacitance, but I checked all the measurement functions. I am very pleased to find out that is meter is, according to their recommendations, a solid performer in terms of sensitivity-range, test modes, and features.     • Fantastic Screen, Great Value
As far as I have been able to discover, there is not another digital clamp meter available yet in this price range with such a large and easy to read display. This meter is not going to replace my Fluke 117 (which costs almost 5x to 6x as much as this one), but for the price, this meter offers excellent features and good accuracy. But in my opinion, the main reason to buy this specific one rather than one of the similar meters available on Amazon is the display on this one. I'm sure others will be copying this nice display in the future, but after search around I did not find any other meters in this price range that have such a nice and easy to read display. BTW, if you see some reviews on this product that mention the display does not rotate, that is apparently an older product version. My display does rotate. ... show more

    • Nice, compact, travel multimeter.
This thing is awesome! Usb charging, accurate, and TINY in comparison to most meters, makes for a great tool to keep in the truck. The only downside is that the UI isn't super intuitive. It takes some getting used to, but performs well once you know how to navigate it.
