I recommend this seller above all others.. Purchased some bad ignition parts from "other" sellers in my day leading to the horror troubleshooting stories you may have heard. GY6 scooter great fun and Hiaors number one good people. But.. carry a spare; some do not last long. One stretch out of 5 i bought various places; one was good. Make sure while it's running any others you have start the machine because you can have fire and will not start. You are looking for a white spark. Red spark indicates the timing is off and will not start. Do not buy an adjustable CDI. They are out of wack. ... show more

Trying to get my Taotao scooter to start I replaced my cdi box. This was not my issue it was the stator but it worked perfectly after replacing the stator.

Item arrived damaged. The bag the CDI came in was full of a sand like media. This damage was clearly not from shipping, but from manufacturing. For safety, I cannot recommend purchasing this particular CDI. I returned mine immediately.

    • THIS CDI WORKES ON MY OLD (1987) HONDA 125
This is actually my second HIAORS CDI on this machine. The first one lasted about 6 months and just died, hence the 4 star. Second one installed and cranked up immediately. Hard to find an aftermarket compatible CDI for the old HONDA. Glad this one worked on my 1987 125cc HONDA.
