  • Beefy!
Color: Silver Size: 23in (58cm) x 3.2mm
Got this for my stubborn 80 lb male lab. Works great for walks; no more pulling. It's beefy, scary looking, and shiny but the main thing is that it works! Quality throughout.

  • Do your research - great product
Color: Chrome Size: 2.25 mm x 13" Neck Size; 16" Chain Length
We are working with the dog trainer for our German Shepherd. Before using the collar which I was very hesitant, the dog trainer explained as exactly how to use it how to put it on and to what extent. It is a great tool for obedience training. If put on correctly, it is perfectly safe. We have several dogs, but this is our first K9. She's a rescue. Quality is great. No complaints. You have to practice to get it on and off since it won't slide over the dogs head. Again, do some research and you will find out it is a great tool for the right reasons. ... show more

  • What Took Me So Long??
Color: Chrome Size: 3.0 mm x 18" Neck Size; 22" Chain Length
I have two 60# adult puppy-mill rescued Golden Retrievers who came to us untrained and unsocialized to say the least. For the past 2 years, walking them has been an ordeal for them and me. I am 75 years old and on two occasions they pulled me over going after a squirrel. After that I would just drop the leash and hope they did not run into traffic as we live in a city on a busy street. We tried trainers and clicker training to no avail. I had bought into the myth that prong collars were painful and cruel but after some additional research, I decided to give them a try out of desperation. Not only are neither cruel or painful, they have worked like a miracle. Just having them properly placed high on their neck immediately changed their behavior. Rarely do I have to even give a very slight pull on the leash. No more pulling, no more chasing critters, no more out of control of dogs. The collars are amazingly effective and my dogs do not mind wearing them at all. Walks are now easy and pleasant for everyone! I highly recommend also buying the Sprenger ClickLock Fastener for ease on putting on and taking off the collars since it is not recommended that the dogs wear them except for walks. I only wish I had tried them 2 years ago! ... show more

  • Highly Recommend!
Color: Silver Size: 22in x 3.0mm (neck size up to 18in)
If it were not for this collar we could not walk our dog at all. She is a lunges at people, other animals, etc. and still does with this collar on but it makes it at least managable to calm her down enough to get past the distraction and continue the walk. With a regular leash it is impossible to walk her. The collar is super sturdy, high quality, adjustable and easily slips on and off. Recommend! ... show more

  • Great collar but we prefer the one with the pinch clip
Color: Silver Size: 23in (58cm) x 3.2mm
High quality collar which we've had for over a year, but the option with a pinch clip is definitely worth the upgrade over this original...especially if you don't have strong fingers! I don't care if anyone makes a negative judgement, prong collars are a shoulder saver! Our English lab very quickly learned not to tug hard on it and is perfectly fine wearing the collar on walks. Just remember that it is positioned ABOVE the regular collar. ... show more

  • Durable, great, use it everyday
Color: Silver Size: 23in (58cm) x 3.2mm
I have a 100 pound German Shepard puppy that likes to pull. I’ve used this collar for months, and it has corrected the behavior, and has held up really well! Highly recommend!!

  • This collar was a game changer for our head strong pup.
Color: Silver Size: 16in x 2.25mm (neck size up to 13in)
We have adopted two one-year-old pups. They are female litter mates. One of them is a little more head strong than the other and both are Strong and energetic. They weigh 50-55 lbs and our dog trainer recommended the Herm Prong collar in addition to the shock collar they are both training with. The first few days we omitted the Herm Collar, thinking the shock collar and new commands would work. She still tugged the leash after a couple of minutes. Upon using the Herm Collar she immediately walked without tugging the leash and we haven’t had to use the shock collar to reinforce the heel command. Because we walk the dogs in areas where a lot of people are out with dogs, this collar has been a game changer. They look painful, but the prongs are blunt and the dog only gets “poked” when they tug on the leash. ... show more
