    • The best! It sticks, no slippage!
I try to a couple of different types of products for these runner rugs I have on top of carpet. This is by far the best product and it's a keeper. I also tried the optimum technologies RugGrip brand and it was no good. But this brand is excellent. You have to peel off the back layer after putting on the front layer to your area rug. Then you slowly peel the back cover of the tape and lay down the area rug on top of the carpet. Make sure you have your area where I can position and you lay down the way you want it from the start because this stuff will stick. And doesn't seem to stick permanently because you can peel it off but you may get some fuzz along. If you tape all sides it won't be coming up in any way when you are walking on it. This tape does work really well on my area rug which is on a carpeted floor. The only thing I noticed is that it is not easy to cut because of the adhesive is so strong it sticks to the cutting tool. But having said that, I think it works for me.

Used to lay carpet tile in basement. Nothing fancy just wanted an easy inexpensive flooring to cover basement floor. Like the idea of floating floor type install on the carpet tiles. The four corner tape they sell is very expensive compared to this and I don’t really know what benefits would be besides those being precut. Cut these yourself and it’s a fraction of the cost. A little hard to work with but only because it's so sticky. Used it to tape some mats down in my garage and it stuck to the concrete better than expected.
