My single reason for 3 stars, it’s not super tacky/sticky. Not as thick as I thought it would be. I’m just a blue collar guy so I have no way to measure the effectiveness. I would suggest spraying on a contact adhesive before hand. I don’t hand out 5 stars like candy.

I bought this for a heat shield between my stove and kitchen drywall, but also wanted it to look sleek as stylish....now I have tons of folds!!! 😖 Why couldn't they put it on a roll, like in the photo???!??? But it's not a total waste!! If you carefully peel/pull and ensure a proper seal by using a cloth to rub it on while applying, the creases from the fold is almost unnoticeable. ... show more

product will work but it looks like a piece of 1 or 2oz fiberglass mat on the back of self adhesive foil it is very thin and the glass strands come apart easy when cutting but it is an ok product and is inexpensive and pretty easy to use just clean oil and grease off real good before trying to use

The battery in my car is right next to the turbocharger, and my expensive Braille li-ion battery was getting uncomfortably hot. I figured I'd give this stuff a try, sticking some on the sides of my battery facing the turbo.
