    • Working so far on a Cal King size bed

I've got a cal king platform bed with 9 legs. 3 on each side and another 3 down the middle. I don't elevate the whole bed, just the head of the bed for help with easing acid reflux at night. So this means I used 3 of these for the 3 legs at the top of the bed, and then I had to find another set at half the height for the center legs. The legs at the foot of the bed are still on the floor, which creates a slope down from my head to my feet. (Why does no company offer a bed that tilts this way, and instead they all just bend in the middle??) These things seem plenty sturdy, but they certainly could be more stylish. In the last 2 listing pictures they show examples of them under furniture, and they look pretty obnoxious in those examples. Keep that in mind because that's how they will look under your furniture. ... show more

There are a lot of reasons why one would want furniture at higher levels. For me it's my height. I'm very tall and most furniture, from chairs and sofas to tables and beds, is not built for people my size. Depending on the original height of the furniture, one needs to decide how much higher they'd like it to be. I find that these three-inch models work well under chairs. They're very sturdy and support a good bit of weight. More than I've ever applied to them. I could just use "regular" sized furniture, which is uncomfortable, or get it custom made, which is expensive, or use these risers. Good choice, if you ask me. ... show more

I use these bed risers for my child's crib that I currently sidecar to our bed so that the mattresses would be even. So far, it keeps the crib really steady even though the kids jump on it. We have carpet floors, so that probably helps with traction. These are just the right color, too, for our dark furniture. Barely noticeable and I sometimes forget that it's even there. Although, I wouldn't use it on light-colored furniture. These seem to be made of quality materials. The plastic is really thick! Well, my TV stand was a little too low for me and so I almost bought a new one. However, I didn’t want to spend the money and so I looked for ways to adjust the one I have. These risers work perfectly! They raised each of the legs on my TV stand three full inches, which is exactly what I needed! It makes such a difference to have the TV closer to eye level! The opening on the top of each riser is big enough to accommodate wider legs. They just slip right on with no assembly required. These risers can be used for other items as well. Over all, I am well satisfied with these risers for my TV stand. I am glad that I went with the risers instead of spending the money on a whole new TV stand! However, I do wish these risers came in additional neutral colors to make them less obvious and taller sizes like four, five and six inches for other pieces of furniture! ... show more
