  • Beautiful fan/light
Love this fan. It was bought for our back porch leading out to our pool. It’s different making it cool to look at as well. Couldn’t be more happier.

  • Wish I would've gotten sooner.
Love the double fan. I've needed extra air circulation in our sunroom for years and just kept putting it off. This year we got it and it has improved air flow so much. With all our windows it's definitely helped keep it cooler. My spouse took about 2 hours installing it but it was quite cumbersome with only one person working on it, but he managed. He could've ordered a longer bar but didn't want to wait on it, but it's fine where it hangs....I'll not complain. Also, the small piece of tape was only stuck up there temporarily while he fixed the cover. I would buy the fan again and it has not been noisy....fun fact my mom has this same fan and has used hers 10 yrs or more now. ... show more

  • Excellent fan, solid lighting, annoying instructions
This is a really excellent fan (and light, if you choose to add it). It looks great, really pushes air, and is a good amount of light. I installed it in my living room, and though the blade design is really more of a porch style design (faux wicker-ish), it looks rather nice. Knocked off one star for instrux/assembly/internal design, as it was a bit of an annoying assembly, mostly the physical part (electrical was pretty painless). I got lucky in that my existing light box was both metal and bolted into a beam, so I didn't need to add a brace, but the weight and shape of it is awkward. The internal design of the light is a pain, all the wires and connectors are packed tightly, but to get at the connector for the main base, you have to pull them all out, and once they're attached, getting them back in is a chore, I eventually just trial and errored jamming and twisting until it lined up. Also, there is a completely unnecessary lip on the top of the light, which I only bring up because I lost ten minutes trying to fish one of the tiny screws that attach it out of there without taking it down again (see last sentence). Also, I understand that the standard for fans is to add the blades after mounting, but that is mainly because they get in the way of the rest of the work. With the fans on ends of a pole, it was COMPLETELY unnecessary to put the blades on once mounted, and incredibly annoying and difficult, that was easily the longest and most frustrating part. Take my advice on this one: forget what the directions tell you, when you're ready to lift it onto the brace, add the blades before you do. You'll thank me. Otherwise, super happy with it, and if you're having it installed by someone else? 5 stars. ... show more

  • I typically run it on medium and it works great. Very attractive and nice design
The house we are living in was a 'kit' that was assembled on site and has vaulted ceilings with a two and a half foot down wall from the ceiling that divides the living room and dining/kitchen. The two fans circulate the rooms very well over a single fan. I did not need to use the balances for it and it is very quiet. The only downside to it is as it is free rotating on the spindle the two arms for the twin fans are on, on high speed it tends to move clockwise some and needs to be moved back into center. The fans can be turned out up to 20° and the light and spindle rotate as well so it can be positioned however you want it. The instructions do not clearly state that the blue wire is for the light only and only say to tie it to the black, however, being an electrical type person, I knew the blue was for the light, thus, you can run, as I did, 3/14 wire and use the red for the light so you can switch it separately. I actually ran 3/12 since it was a motor, but the internal wire is 16gauge and it only needs 14ga for the feed, as it is low amps. It is reversible so you can change directions for heating vs. cooling. I typically run it on medium and it works great. Very attractive and nice design. When we move, I'm taking it with. ... show more

  • Gorgeous fan for enclosed porch!
This modern fan was an easy install for my husband. It really fit the need for an updated fan for new enclosed porch area. Very good value for the price paid. Seems very quiet too!

  • Really nice fan. Easy setup. Great airflow.
Pretty easy to install. Once setup, it runs great. Looks great. On the high speed, you get alot of airflow. Only recommended I have is when you are installing make a slight modification to the order of things. They suggest you mount the main section then with it hanging, you install the blades and light fixture. This is nearly impossible to achieve standing under it and working upwards. Instead, install the blades and light fixture with it down on a table first. Then you just carry it and place it all into the mounting bracket. Then wire it. Much much easier that way. I also recommend you pick up a Kasa Smart Plug and you can wire into that to enabled Alexa control. Since this uses your standard pull chain, you can leave it "on" and then just use an Alexa enabled switch to turn it on and off. I used this since I wired to a plug outlet outdoors. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0178IC734/ ... show more
