I’d read some of the reviews about the odor but took a chance and purchased one anyway. Sooo glad I did!! I really love the color, the brown with black stitching. I think it’s great!!! The only thing I’d ask them to consider is a way to remove the short strap so you only have the long one. The short one is for those who wear the bag over the shoulder. I like the longer one so I can wear it as a crossbody bag. It alleviates the stress on my back that way. I’d absolutely buy this again in other colors! It’s a great bag!!! ... show more

I got the large size in the color wine with gold hardware. Pros: Well-made, size is as described (large but not bulky), color is as described ("wine" is the same as burgundy), hardware doesn't look cheap. Interior is as described: roomy interior, one small zippered pocket, two side pockets, one center large zippered pocket that divides the interior of the bag into two sections. Also has an outer zippered pocket. A nice plus is that the shoulder strap is lightly padded, and the crossbody strap also has a very light cushiony feel to it. Cons: Exterior and interior material. I really like this bag because of the "pros" listed above. The one thing that keeps me from loving this bag is the material (exterior and interior). The description says "faux leather," so I wasn't expecting real leather, but I was disappointed at the feel of the bag because some faux leather can feel quite buttery. This bag feels a bit like vinyl. The gray interior material is made of thick nylon and is a bit "noisy." I'm keeping this bag because everything else is exactly what I've been looking for. I need this bag to function as my everyday/workhorse bag, so I can overlook the material based on what I intend to use it for. ... show more

This bag exceeded my expectations. I'm a big bag wearer and I over pack my bags, and this bag held everything that I needed and more. It's extremely roomy, and durable. It has tons of pockets, I especially like the ones on the outsides. They are very handy and you wouldn't have to open your entre bag to get things out. I bought this purse in the lavender color back in February and used it all year. I loved it so much I bought it in black for the colder seasons. Black with black hardware and she is SHARP. Neither of mine had a scent like others have complained about. Plenty of pockets and space to fit things, and it maintains shape and doesn’t bulk up even with stuff in it. It’s magical. At first I thought I was sent a wrong color because this doesn't look black. It looks like it has a gray tint, that's my only complaint. I like that there are two small outside pockets on the sides.

I measured, I compared, I ordered the medium black with black hardware. It's a nice tote more than a purse. No off fragrance as some have mentioned. It was much larger than I expected even after all the measuring and comparing. I returned it and will keep looking.
