I bought these for a Christmas present and I double checked them when they came in. They are really lovely set and the carrying case is a nice touch. My only complaint is that two of the brushes' bristles were bent/creased. I'm hoping we can figure out a way to flatten them back out.

This is a nice enough brush set. The roll up storage is nice. Seems like leather, with fabric bonded to the back. The brushes aren't any better (nor worse) than what is available locally for less money. The handle for the pallette knife is smaller than another one I have and thus less comfortable, with unfinished and kinda rough wood. Overall usable. ... show more

I've used these in my travel art bag, and am pretty happy with the brush options here of flat, fan, round, and angled brushes in various sizes. The brush designs are very aesthetically pleasing too; the brush heads are considerably stiffer than my squirrel and synthetic watercolor brushes at home, but that's not a huge issue for me.
