Description

Size Name:60 Ft. Eliminate gutter clogs with GutterBrush, the simple, sensible clog protection system. Avoid the disappointments of expensive gutter screens and gutter covers that can’t handle heavy rains, require custom fitting, professional installation, trimming, and fastening. When gutter screens and covers get dirty or covered with debris, they don't work, and frequently cause rain water to flow past the gutter. Maintenance is nearly impossible because they are fastened and need to be taken apart. Clogged gutters are a burden, maintenance is a reality and expensive, fastened devices make it more complicated. Whether DIY or hiring a contractor, stay in control with GutterBrush, a simple leaf filter that works. To use, simply slide lengths end-to-end to fill your gutter channel. If you need it shorter, bend and fold the corners to create a custom length. Featuring a simple design, this gutter protection doesn't require any tools, fasteners, or expertise, making for a painless installation. This gutter guard is designed for most 5-inch residential gutters. Measure your gutter across the top from the back to the front lip and easily insert the number of guards you need. Packs contain 3-foot lengths and 18-inch sections to fill out the remaining gutter lengths.

Taking them out after one year. Did not work well for me and my oak tree

  • Clogged up first downpour!!
Size Name: 5 Inch Standard - 30 Ft.
I bought these for my sun room gutter, in hopes I didn't have to totally replace my gutter with a much larger one. I have trees near by (not overhead) with small leaves and twigs that shed all summer. As a result, my gutter clogs up often over flowing which has damaged the outer cement on my foundation causing it to crack and break off. Today is the first heavy rain I've had since I put the Gutter Brush in 2 weeks ago. Apparently the leaves clogged worse by being caught in the brushes rather than going down the down spout. The over flow of my gutter began almost immediately even though there was still some water coming out of the downspout. Guess I'll try them elsewhere or just toss them out. Something is going down the drain, unfortunately it's my $100. ... show more

  • Worked remarkably well for pine trees
Size Name: 5 Inch Standard - 60 Ft.
Our house is in a pine forest. If I didn't clean the gutters at least once a month, they were rendered useless by all the pine needles and pine cones. From the research I did, it sounded like no gutter system could cope with pine needles, and once it clogged, it was very hard to clean them. I read the reviews on the gutter brush, and I honestly didn't have high hopes. I bought enough to do the gutters that were the worst, and tested it out for a year. Wow! The whole time, the gutters kept flowing! Yes, pine needles get stuck in the gutter brush and form a layer on top of it that doesn't look very nice, but the water can still flow freely in the gutters and I no longer have issues with water damage from overflowing gutters. Instalation is super easy. Once you've cleaned the gutters, you can easily do a whole house in under 2 hours. If you need to pull them out to clean them, that's easy too. Just pull them out, shake them, and put them back in. It's not something I'd do too frequently though, because the bristles that are compressed by the gutter supports stay permanently bent after being that way for a year. All in all, these have worked great for me, and far surpassed my expectations! For reference, after my year long experiment, I ordered gutter brushes for the rest of the house. While the gutters that had the gutter brush were still flowing freely a year later, I removed 8 5-gallon buckets of pine needles and pine cones out of the gutters that did not have the gutter brush!!! Some people won't like the fact that you can see the top of the bristles and debris that gets trapped on top of them, but I don't care as long as the gutters keep working. In any case, it's still a lot easier to put a brush on an extension pole and brush the debris off while still standing on the ground if it bothers you that much. Overall, I'd highly recommend this product to anyone who is more concerned with function over looks. ... show more

  • mixed feelings about this
Size Name: 5 Inch Standard - 6 Ft.
Water can find enough gaps to flow through, my gutter has not been completely clogged yet (well, I have to clean it often!!). That is the idea of using gutter brush. On the other hand, all kinds of debris get trapped by the bristles, no way to escape, especially helicopter leaves from maple trees. Annual cleaning is a minimum in my case. There is NO labor or time saving here. Besides shaking the junk out of the brush, you still need to scoop finer materials out from the bottom of the gutter. I don't see any advantage of using a gutter brush. For covered gutter types (screen or mesh), at least leaves get blown off the roof much more easily. You may not need to clean the gutter as often. I am switching to a micro-mesh gutter guard, plus getting a gutter cleaning blower attachment . Hopefully that will do the trick. ... show more

  • Working well after 3 years
Size Name: 5 Inch Standard - 30 Ft.
We put these up 3 years ago, and they’ve held up well. Last year we climbed up, pulled them out and shook them off. There was some soil and fine leaf litter in the gutter, sprayed it out with a hose. They catch most leaf and tree litter but let water go through. I have 5” gutters, the bristles stick up from the edge of the gutter by about an inch. We used the sponge type on one side of the garage to compare, see which one works better, but I’m replacing those with these. The sponge/foam ones seem to get saturated in heavy rain and the water pours out of the gutter, and for whatever reason the leaves accumulate against them more. I’m not sure there is a perfect system but these seem to work well. ... show more

  • Not a good long term solution to keep litter out
Size Name: 5 Inch Standard - 30 Ft.
Installed the gutter brush yesterday, and the first thing I noticed is that the gutterbrush didn't completely fill the gutter, but only half way up. I checked the gutters today, and already there are small leaves in the gutterbrush. Looks like I will have to make weekly cleaning visits to clean the litter off of the brushes. Not exactly what I had in mind. ... show more

  • Appears to be A good product.
Size Name: 5 Inch Standard - 60 Ft.
Great service! I ordered A sample pack from Gutter Brush last year and this fall the section with Gutter Brush had almost no pine straw in or around the gutter but the section without Gutter Brush was 1/2 full of pine straw and leaves. I have now installed Gutter Brush on 3/4 of the house. Very easy to install and I hope I won't have to clean out gutter's any longer! At 65 years old I don't bounce like I used to!! I am also going to install 6" Gutter Brush on my pole building gutter's. 14 foot side wall's are getting A bit too high for this old man!! ... show more
