Anyone who doesn’t find this gem to save HOURS when demoing 2x6 or 5/4 pressure treated lumber nailed or screwed needs to be working in a different trade. I’d give it 100 STARS if it were an option!!!

I initially thought, before ordering, that the price was a bit much, but once I picked up the pry bar and used it I realized that it is exceptionally strong (I bore down on it with 300 lbs). I'm using it to remove approx. 4" diameter near-surface tree roots in my yard (after using a reciprocating saw to cut 2-3 foot lengths). The pointed tines help penetrate the soil to get under the root sections, and the length of the bar gives great leverage. Well worth the price. ... show more

I love this tool. Makes demo a breeze. I'm extremely rough on tools. Especially demo tools. This bar almost lasted a year for me and would probably last a lifetime for most people. I'm buying another one soon.

    • Great tool but wheels lack durability

I bought this unit to remove my hardwood flooring on the second floor of my home. I have really mixed feelings about this tool. On one hand, it made taking the hardwood florring off a breeze. Everything was going well but after 15 minutes the wheels on the unit simply fell off. I tried to use the bar without wheels but that was difficult since the base was dragging on the ground and getting stuck against nails and it became painful sliding the tool on the floor to have it suddenly come to a dead stop on a nail. I asked for the tool to be replaced and Amazon promptly sent me a replacement but unfortunately the same problem happened and after a short time the wheels fell off. I reattached the wheels and tightened them as much as I could but that did not work and the wheels continue to fall off. I am not sure if the tool has a design flaw or if I am doing something wrong - I have sent a note to the vendor and am waiting for a response. ... show more
