This was a 90% Christmas present for my son and a 10% gift to myself when he's not using it lol. He loves it. I like it. Fun little E-bike. The build quality seems good. Everything feels solid. Fit and finish is great. My son can get up 17 mph on it. I can only get about 15 mph, tops, due to my heavier weight. We haven't tested the full range since we charge the bike often so no comment on battery life. The ride quality isn't bad. The beefy tires helps absorb some of the bumps. Still, it can get relatively rough if you're on uneven and rocky terrain which is understandable for a bike lacking suspension. This E-bike is more compact and is made to be "portable". Folding it down does help and makes it easier to put in my trunk. Seat is soft but I wish it had more padding. Assembly wasn't too bad. Simple and straightforward for the most part. I noticed that there are mounting holes for a chain guard which is nice if you plan to get one. The only real adjustment I made from the factory setup is the bell. It's way to close to use comfortably. Assembly TIPS: when putting on the axle and tire, snug on the nuts lightly and spin the tires. Check to see if it clears the brake pads then tighten the nut some more. If you hear it rubbing on the pad, loosen the nut and adjust the angle of the tire before tightening the nut again. Spin and repeat. Tires should spin freely and quietly. TIP #2: for the front headlight, the instructions wants you to put the washer and locking nut on the backside. I recommend using the washer in the front (at the neck of the bolt). This helps secure the headlight better and feels more solid this way. Headlights is bright. Very bright! Make sure not to blind people and adjust it to aim slightly downwards. Rear light is good. Does the job. You can toggle the lights on or off via the key switch. Comes with 3 keys, by the way. Overall, it's been a great bike. My son is enjoying it. He's happy. I'm happy. This E-bike is an A+bike. ... show more

I bought this electric bike for my boy, who is about to turn 9. We assembled it together, it was quick and easy. The seat is adjustable, comfortable and can go very low, which is great for young kids. The folding design makes it compact and versatile. It performs well with top speed 20mph and maximum range of 25 miles. There are three options to ride: standard pedaling, pedal assist and throttle only mode. GoTrax has made a name for themselves - sturdy and reliable performance. This bike has really impressed me. It is sleek and well built, everything works as it should from the very beginning. The folding mechanism is easy to perform and the entire bike comfortable holds even a large person like myself (6,5” 200lbs) You have three options to ride - standard pedaling, pedal assist and throttle only mode. All work wonderfully. The pedal assist is impressive and works smoothly. The throttle only mode gets me going at least 15 and when going up hills I give it a little boost with pedaling. The lights are bright enough for night riding and even though the wheels are smaller than a normal bicycle, the fat tire helps absorb shocks so you’re not uncomfortable . Doesn't fully charge. Charger gets dangerously hot. Battery life doesn't last as says 20 mile range. Won't last 3 mile range. Called gotrax for assistance and it's out of country handling and they don't do there job. Buy direct from Gotrax if need to purchase the help in America is very understanding.
