The media could not be loaded. My wife and I both love cycling and we got an e-bike that was a little high for me so I got this model. E-bikes are so convenient to ride and use and it makes it easy to go for long rides. Considering the factor that good manual bikes are almost the same cost as this one, it makes sense to go for e-bikes. My detailed comments are below after using it for a week and I would recommend this product to anyone looking for an e-bike in this price range. My 2 cents are below: Pros: - This bike ride is very smooth overall. It handles well in bumps as well because of the front suspensions - Has 3 modes to ride the bike - e-bike, assisted bicycle & normal bike. - Shimano 7-speed transmission system in the form of gears that should satisfy all the needs for any terrain of biking - Has a maximum speed of around 20MPH. I am not sure about you but riding a bike over 15MPH is something my wife and I both don't prefer for safety reasons and hence it delivers as per our needs. It has a 500W high-power motor and immediately catches the speed on pressing the trigger - 48V battery gives around 40 miles range on a full charge and that is a good number for an e-bike in this price category - Digital HD led display is very fancy and intuitive but I wish it was colored - Suspension is smooth & very effective - Has disc brakes in both from and rear wheels. It worked great overall for sudden and usual brakes while riding it - Central b/w display visibility is nice even in sunlight. The screen is very bright and has no issues in reading values even in bright light - Headlight LEDs are bright enough for night rides as well. We usually tend to ride in the evening or when it is about to get dark and hence we liked this - Tail lights are electric too & very functional - Overall this e-bike looks fancy and targets youth customers. It would be a great choice for anyone in the '30s - Fat tires have a good grip overall and we did not feel it skidding as if now - It has rear fenders for dirt protection and a rack at the back to keep something - Great build quality and structure feels very strong from any angle - It is easy to charge with the access point in a nice area - Battery compartment is removable and is waterproof - Foldable bike for that extra convenience to take during travel - Comes very well packed and there was no damage at all - The bike comes in big packaging with 100% assembly already in place. Just had to lock the parts via an inbuilt clamp & install the pedals. It was overall an easy assembly - Detailed manual provided and should cover any question you may have during use - The manufacturer offers a 6-month warranty on the bike Cons: - I wish it had rear suspension as well for a smoother ride in plain terrane - Why a manual horn in an e-bike? I believe the manufacturer should add an electric horn too - I wish it had other color options (only black & white currently) to choose from ... show more

This GOTRAX ebike was a great purchase! I love how lightweight jt is and the ability to fold makes transporting it even in a small car easy. I am 5’11 180 lbs. the handlebars and seat are adjustable and fit me fine. I go grocery shopping with it, I've ridden it on all kinds of terrain, and taken it on far distance city to city trips. It holds up great in most weather here in CA so far. I would not leave it sitting outside in the rain or snow though. The 500W motor is strong, and setup was quicker than expected. As I am getting older the hills are tougher, but this motor keeps me riding. The battery is removable, which can help with transport. With these thick tires you won’t be afraid to take it on dirt roads. I have gotten about 30 miles no problem, and I just charge it in my garage overnight. (Supposed to take around 5 hours. There are 7 speeds, but I pretty much manually bike as much as possible until I need the help it can hit 20 MPH by itself, FASTER if you pedal with it… which is very fast for bilking for me. Climbs up hills are easy. And while I've heard complaints from other reviewers. I find it quite comfortable even when I ride for hours. This ebike is easy to fold after a little bit of practice and I put it right in the backseat of my car to make it easier for me to maneuver. The display is simple and easy to read, while riding. The media could not be loaded. I recently got the Gotrax R2/F2 20" folding electric bike, and I have to say, initial impressions of this thing were great. The packaging was top-notch, with every part securely protected, and the bike arrived in perfect condition. Unboxing it was very quick, and I was overall impressed by the build quality and sleek design. Setting up the bike was surprisingly a very straightforward process. The included instructions were clear and easy to follow, and I had the bike ready to ride in no time. The pedal-assist system is straightforward to understand, and I appreciated the simplicity of starting the bike. One thing I will mention is that you need to use one of the provided keys for the bike to start. This part was not mentioned anywhere in the instructions and is crucial to start up the bike. Otherwise, the user-friendly instructions made the setup experience hassle-free. Using the bike has been an absolute joy. The pedal-assist function is incredibly smooth, providing just the right amount of power to make my rides effortless, whether I'm cruising in the streets of my neighborhood or tackling some challenging hills. The 20" wheels give it a comfortable and stable ride, and I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the seat was during longer trips. They claim the bike can ride up to 55 miles; I am not sure how true that claim is since I have not ridden it that far, but the battery does hold up well so far. Now for the pros and cons: The 55-mile range is a huge plus, and the folding feature makes it incredibly convenient for storage and transportation. The pedal-assist system is responsive and user-friendly, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced riders. However, one drawback is the bike's weight; it can be a bit heavy when it needs to be carried upstairs or lifted into a vehicle.
