The original whisky glass taken to a whole new level by Crystal Imagery. fter winning the 2006 Queen's Award for Innovation, the Glencairn scotch whisky glass has earned its title as the "official whisky glass" by the experts. Glencairn offers scotch whisky connoisseurs a special glass to appreciate all of the whisky's fine nuances. Comfortable in the hand, it has a full bowl that tapers at the mouth to enhance color, body, aroma, taste, and finish. The Glencairn glass 2.5 inches wide and 4.5 inches tall and holds up to 6.5 ounces.

Production Method: Crystal Imagery uses a method of engraving called Sandcarving. Instead of scratching or frosting the surface, we carve deep into the product leaving the image appearing raised and 3D. The effect is permanent and can never be washed away. My husband requested these for his birthday because he’s a big whiskey guy. I had previously gotten the lowball glasses as a Christmas gift and he loved those so I came back to get these. The turn around time stated on the order page was something like a couple of weeks, but I got the notification that these had shipped a couple of days later, if not the next day. I suppose that would be because the template for them already existed. Anyhow my husband loves them, but unfortunately I was washing them in the dishwasher and they both cracked. I ordered 4 and did 2 for me and 2 for my brother. One review says you can’t customize the second (or more) glass but you totally can. Where you write what you want on the glass be sure to include 1.) information 2.) information 3.) information 4.) information and they will do each one accordingly.
