I was looking for a cute bag for the holidays. I love the deep red. I would say my only issue was the texture of the outside. It's a plastic leather like material. Previous experience with this material is that it flakes away long term. That being said, because I intend to use it only on holidays, it's well worth it. Bought this for my daughter for Christmas and just loved how it looked. The bow is adorable and the color is just as pictured. The zippers were not hard to use. I would recommend this backpack.

The functionality is perfect, zipper quality is great, and looks super adorable. It’s light weight and comfortable (you have to adjust the straps properly). My biggest complaint is the quality of its making. Looking at the part touching your back has a couple stitches (no big deal) but there is an exposed string hanging out. If that string were to loosen - or the bag to stretched horizontally, it would pull the string back and undo the stitches one by one. It’s good to note that the end of the string was burnt to make sure it doesn’t unwind, but it will most likely still unstitch itself if you use the bag carelessly.
