I order this electric bike in Dec. 2022. It arrived within 7 biz day and was 80% complete out the box. The video and manual instructions were easy to follow, and I completed the assemble in about a 1/2 hour. I fully read the instructions especially about the safety when riding since I had never ridden an electric bike before. It is amazingly fast and powerful. It took me about 5 minutes to get use to how the electric assist works when peddling. It rides like a dream, smooth and comfortable. The shocks in the seat bar and the front forks keep the ride smooth. It handles easily but I must admit I will need to get use to the speed it can produce. I received the bike in great condition. The bike is fast and very sturdy. For some reason, both of my tires had popped within a few days, but Cindy was quick to support my issue and help me out to get it fixed. I did choose to return the bike because I found that e-bikes, in general, underperform in my area because of more challenging conditions, such as high winds, wind gusts, long inclines, and state laws that are more restrictive for e-bikes here. Just recently got another brand so have something to compare it to. This bike (black one in pic) has great top speed about 32mph while pedaling in high gear with assistance at level 5. 👌 also in pedal assistance 1 it goes 15-17mph while pedaling in gear 3 or 4, which is very easy. Can climb hills with ease in gear 1 or 2 and pedal assist 1 or 2. Also has great battery life. Customer service was great as I needed new sprocket after delivery as I think it got damaged in shipping. But easy going and replaced with minimal effort 👌. Only reason for 4 star is there is always room for improvements. But basically a 4.9 out a 5 ✌ the blue bike is hipeak and would rate it 2 out of 5 compared to this bike for speed and pedal assist. But was $400 cheaper. ... show more

It took me months to decide on this bike and I have to say it is absolutely the best decision I could have made!!!!! For starters, I have a bad hip and the step thru is so accommodating. I barely have to lift my leg over a foot. I waited a bit before writing a review so I can pass on my opinion and I love this bike!!! It's pretty dang fast! It took me a couple days of getting used to the big tires, which are really great for the terrible awful old sidewalks in my very old city. The big tires absorbed the bumps like they aren't even there. I rode a long way a couple days in a row and still have plenty of battery left. There's NOTHING I DON'T LIKE about my bike. Oh yeah!     • Power and features for a great price!
I love my Gosen/Gesheng S5 folding bike! The bike arrived safely packaged and about two weeks early. Assembly was easy and the bike was ready to go. On my first ride, the bike took off like a rocket. It felt more like an electric motorcycle than a bike and I was a little concerned that It had too much power on the lowest of its three assist levels and that it might be a situation of zero assist or too much. I went to Gosenbike.com online, downloaded the bike’s electronic controller manual, and found that the bike had many easily programmable power options. I was able to quickly tame the beast. Now my bike has nine PAS levels from 0-9 assist plus a walk mode. I can select the power level that gives me the perfect amount of exercise, a boost up a hill or through the sand, or a quick ride back home if I get too tired or the weather turns bad. The suspension and tires help smooth out the tree-root bumps of our local bike trails and the fat tires let me cruise for miles on the local beach. Folded, it is easy to store. This is a high quality bike at a quite reasonable price. Go Gosen/Gesheng! ... show more

This is my first e-bike and I was not sure what to expect. This e-bike is so easy to assemble and a joy to ride. The e-bike is well balanced, controls are no problem to reach and the battery life is great. The best thing about this e-bike is customer service. They answer questions immediately and are so nice.     • this bike is built strong
This was my first e bike ,i was really glad to be getting it .it was extremally easy to put together .Then once i got it together it was to big [,so i thought] wasnt use to such big tires ,although they are not It was just that i wasnt use to seeing one up close . Well i sold it and got a smaller e bike with 3 inch wide tires ,but the battery and everything else on that bike was pretty cheap ,kept it for a couple months and sold that one also, but it was fun riding .and now im getting another one probably a gesheng again . The problem is that i need to get use to the 4inch tires .and this bike will be what i keep .because ,ive been shopping around for a long time on ebay and amason . I have been coming back to the gesheng ,because of the strong build and the technology they are doing on the bikes. Once i get use to riding this bike i will certainly like it and keep it .No matter where you look you will not find one that has everything that all the others charge so much more money for. Im not compensated for this ,I did not get one yet ,but i will within the next few weeks.AND I CANT FORGET TO MENTION CINDY WHO DID HER DAMDEST TO HELP ME WITH THIS BIKE ... show more
