Over all the picks are durable enough to learn with and comfortable and easy enough to not be unusable like other pick sets i’ve had. For $26 they are a great value although the practice locks they provide are next to useless, weak mushy pins that are mostly already set above the sheer line. I understand some are supposed to be easy but the hardest one doesn’t even lock! Though I’m sure that is inconsistent amongst different packages. Overall review, great to learn with the picks and then upgrade later. I would just suggest using some locks you have lying around instead of the provided ones. ... show more

for a cheap lock pick set it isn't bad at all but the one problem is the padlock is almost impossible to pick with the included picks, but that is the only issue is comes with a cool holder for the picks and has instructions on how to get started.

    • Two of the locks stripped within a day.
The kit came in fast and all tools look ok. After trying different picks on the locks for better understanding, the opening of the locks started to crack on 2 of them. Looks like the material used is very cheap. No big deal as we were able to pick them open but stripped them in the process. I recommend the tools but wished they used better material. ... show more

Not impressed with these. The double ended cylinder lock turns without even having to pick it. The single cylinder lock has 2 pin bores that are oversized for the pins and can be picked with a flat back of a pick pushing all the pins up at the same time. The pad lock can be picked with just pushing up on all the pins with a flat pick or by bumping it while it is upside down and turning it. I understand the mass production idea, but I wouldn't even say this is entry level quality, more of a low quality novelty. The picks themselves could use a little refinement to get rid of the burs/sharp edges, and the flat stock turning tools are a bit flimsy and have sharp edges (enough to cut your finger when pulling them out of the pouch, learned that for myself). Overall, NOT worth buying. Remember that many are the same just rebranded with different sellers. ... show more

    • Great set - Everything I needed to Practice
Took a while to get here, but wasn’t disappointed when it arrived. Because of a lost key and outrageous expense of a new one. I figured I could open the lock with the right instruments. I was able to view the interior of the lock type and practice and opened my keyless lock within seconds. I was wow'd by the number of pics and the bonus personal pics should I want to, I’m able to carry them with me at all times. Great price, most useful selection of pics included plus clear practice locks - great quality and great price - recommend easily ... show more

The kit does not come with covers for the locks, but the locks are decent quality, and the picks are fine. They work, though they're rough on the hands and the lock. I will be getting some better ones. The clear lock was so valuable for learning how to pick. Anyone who says it isn't helpful is wrong. ... show more
