However the coverage for the top is a little small, fits more like a medium. The padding was fine. The bottoms looked huge, but fit great. The cut of them is perfect. True as advertised. As others have stated: buy it for the bottoms, expect to give away the top. If both end up working for you, then congrats! I’m not sure of the statistics on this, but most women I know buy a different size top and bottom when purchasing swimwear. XL bottoms were comfortable on me. Snug enough not to move around too much, but not so tight that they cut into my curves. The XL top did nothing for me. I imagine it would work if I had the same size boobs, but artificially implanted to sit stationary. I don’t recommend the top if you have natural breasts above a C cup. If you are planning to wear the top, size down if you can. It’s really cute, just runs large and lacks support. I’d buy more colors if it were possible to get them separately, but I’ll already be donating the top from this set. Feels like a waste. Classic Amazon throwaway culture. For reference: I’m 5’4, ≈175lbs, curvy hourglass figure, 42-33-46, 34DD Also, karma will shower prosperity upon the lovely and confident women who posted photos with their reviews and helped me decide on this purchase. I loved this bikini. I initially got this in a size medium and returned it because it felt too snug on my chest (34C) and too tight on the bottom as well. I exchanged for a large. By the time I wore it, I had lost 10 lbs and the bikini was a looser fit on me than it would have been before. But I still loved it. Super cute when dry, but once I got it wet it kind of seemed "stretched" and was looser fitting on the bottoms. Might try a medium again since I am a different weight. Good quality suit! Material is thick and top is well padded. However, not recommended for large breasted women. I am 32DD/36C depending on the brand and I was comfortable, but only in the pool. Had I worn it on the ocean a little wave could have easily caused a malfunction. Really comfortable and flattering. But straps are not adjustable.
