Assembly wasn’t too bad it took me about an hour to get it going, because I was trying not to initially look at all the pieces and separate them. it’s a pretty decent quality and a good price a little lower to the ground and I first expected but I think any higher it would overpower the sofa it looks really good in our man cave ... show more

    • Almost perfect!
This coffee table was almost flawlessly designed. I use it in my office in front of my couch, allowing anyone visiting or meeting me to set their paperwork/laptop on it. When expanded, it spans the entire length of the couch and creates 2 extra temporary workspaces with plenty of room for drinks in the lowered middle section. When collapsed, it acts as an interesting statement piece with lots of room for displaying knickknacks in the bottom parts. The only thing that prevents this item from being flawless is that there is no way to expand the table easily without knocking over my knickknacks or messing up my rug. I think this table would be flawless if it had some sort of wheels on the expandable side or a sliding mechanism. After I expand or collapse it, I'm always having to adjust the rug underneath it or reposition the items I store in it. A small flaw but worth noting. It was a little more difficult to assemble than I was expecting - the instructions are okay, just a lot of similar-looking pieces. The finished product is very pretty, though, and looks as it does in the photos. The one. thing I will say is that I had liked the nesting function so that I could open and close it, but I didn't really consider that it's sitting on top of a rug in my living room - dragging it to open/close it is not worth the effort and it's quite large when open so I end up just keeping it closed. It's still a very unique statement piece. One of the corners on two pieces arrived kind of crushed/scuffed but otherwise packaging was good. ... show more

Assembly was a bit confusing and frustrating. It has a lot of shelves and cubbies, but as others have said, the silver pins are a bit unsightly. the seam across the top when pushed together is also something that looks a bit off. It does seem sturdy enough, but not really what I had expected it to be. Like a lot of things these days, someone should be paying me if I'm going to have to assemble these things. Therefore, the price should be dropped by at least 50.00 to make up for that. ... show more
