  • Worth it!
This tent is really cool. I can put it up by myself in about 5 minutes, and that is taking my time. The set up is really a breeze. This was one of the reasons we were drawn to this tent. I can also move it by myself, but I wouldn't walk it far. It is pretty heavy. Our first trip there was a severe thunderstorm. We made sure to tie it down and put some ratchet straps over the top. It held up like a champ and there was no leakage. The zippers are exceptional. They glide well, don't get bound up and are heavy duty. The height of the tent is good for us, bit neither of us are tall. We have not used the tent and removed the floor yet. Mostly because we are concerned about how difficult it may be to reinstall it. However, the tent would be much lighter and maybe easier to carry further with out it. I like the screened room for sitting and also that the front screen room can double as just another room because there are privacy curtains on the front screen room. Take down is just as easy and it fits bag in the bag with room to spare. It can be a little tricky to figure out how to cinch and fold it at first. It is different that a standard tent, but wel worth the effort. ... show more

  • Very nice, big two compartment tent, thick material, easy to set up fast with practice.
First I love it, I have lived in it for now for almost 2 months on a job site. I keep the dirty stuff and storage in the front and my bed, computer and flatscreen TV in the back, home away from home. Never in a million years can you set this up in 90 seconds as they advertised. Shure rip it out of the bag, throw it on the ground and pull all the sides it is up, but that is not really not ready to camp. Unfolding everything, laying everything out, doing a tarp, 8 tent stakes, rolling up the fly or staking it, etc. 10-20 minutes depending on practice. Big and heavy, but it is a big tent, probably not going to fit in a small car. Floor space is 110 SQ Ft but it is much, much bigger inside all around because the sides pop out, very nice. The two rooms with a divider is great. Doors open out on both sides so people can change and sleep in semi-private. The material is very nice and extra thick with waterproof coating on the inside, someone said the material soaked up water like a sponge, I did not see that (see pictures). The floor is very thick and waterproof. I was worried about the Velcro on the front bottom door flaps, but it turned out to be super strong Velcro and works great. Considering I had to get rid of few tents because zippers broke, Velcro is pretty reliable. I didn't even stake out the fly, I had it rolled up the whole time on the sides so I could see out the windows and get better flow and the windows did not leak when zipped up. I really like how the fly does not touch the tent and has a large overhang. I was worried about the floor being removable and would allow water to enter, but it is in a bucket shape so it can sit in 5 inches of standing water and not leak, better than any other tent I have owned. There was some seeping of water in the stitching at the bottom corners (see picture), but it did not get inside the tent because of the bucket floor. I am just going to brush some waterproofing sealant on the stiches and won’t happen again. The aluminum stakes are a joke and they all bent the first time out, buy some real ones. In very high wind the sides can pop back in, just get some cord and tie the sides to the fly stakes, problem solved. Someone said they broke the fiberglass poles. Don’t push them to far, they work fine, a new tent will be tight, go slow the first time. Someone else mentioned holes from shipping, I think they fixed that problem, everything was wrapped and had paper liners for protection everywhere. I had no defects in material or stitching. My camp has two RV trailers, a ocean cargo container, a 20 FT carport and 3 EZ-Ups and a 15FT Gazebo tent. ... show more

  • Waterproof, big, easy, fun
Set up in my yard. Boyfriend was surprised, he walked away for a bit, came back and I had it up already 💥 in sixty seconds or less even. Then we had to put the rain fly on and tie the guy lines. There’s three poles to install in the front, two long on either side and short one ☝️ up top. Before we put those in my Huskador puppy, 50lbs, body slammed the screen door multiple times while I was freaking out but no damage was done phew! So I’d say the screen is strong. It’s a beautiful tent and so much space inside. I took a long long time to decide which tent and honestly didn’t want to spend so much but this is definitely a quality product. I noticed right away unpacking it that the fabric it’s made of is thick and nice. It has a lot of the features I wanted like pop up, screen room with floor, large, no real bad reviews ect…So we set it up then it rained for like three days. The tent had no bugs and not a single drop of water anywhere which is what I paid for! Yay! Then we had to take it down which was also easy. If you look at the two direction photos it shows on the tent bag tag the roof points down and the legs fold upwards while folding in the fabric to fit. Then putting it in the bag was easy. They give you enough room and then you can tighten it down with the attached three Velcro straps. It was kind of long to store in the car but I folded down the single back seat and we’ll store it lengthwise there. It also fit corner to corner in my cars cargo hitch carrier. Thank you! I love this tent so much! ... show more

  • Awesome car camping tent!
This thing is an absolute palace for car camping. Plenty of room to set up a small folding table and two camp chairs in the first room. Then enough room for two twin size giant air mattress in the second room. Room to stand and walk normally for anyone probably 6’2” and under. I’m 5’9” and have plenty of clearance. Quality seems pretty good. I’ve had it out 5 nights so far. 2 thunderstorms. Completely waterproof when you close storm flaps, and almost no water in the tent with most open for ventilation. I can’t speak to how many years this will last, but I think it’s worth the investment. Decent heavy duty materials. Only concern is how durable the farm parts are that pop in and out for structure, and how much they will wear in the tent fabric. Set up: Take the 30 seconds to read the directions. I skipped the first time and you will benefit from looking over them. You can set up with one person with some effort, but two makes it very easy. It is pretty heavy. I haven’t weighed it, and I’ve seen reports of 47-57 pounds. I’d say it’s in that range. And awkward to carry. That said.... For most people I think the thing takes about 5 minutes from start to finish set up. Very simple. Give yourself 10-15 minutes to break it down and get it back in the bag. It can be a challenge to get back in the bag the first few times until you understand how it folds up. Pay attention to how it unfolds when initially taking out. ... show more
