  • 5.0 out of 5 stars So far so good!
Arrived in a white crinkly bag, packaged simply with very big- large garlic. No blemishes on these and they were not soft, and they are perfect. Can’t wait to plant these! Will edit this review in the future with updates. I know right now isn’t the perfect time to plant the garlic for eating, but I’ll plant one just to see how it goes. I’m mainly wanting these garlic for aesthetics in the flower garden, not for eating. Will edit soon! ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Very impressive
Shoots up like crazy! I kept bottoms in the water in shallow saucers first and in 3 days it was ready to be planted. Both roots and shoots looked very healthy. I planted it in my containers with cucumbers, dill, cilantro and parsley to scare away some bugs that dislike it, especially weevils. Growing incredibly fast. And the remaining bulbs are very fresh and tasty, if tasty can be used to describe garlic:-) ... show more

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing 2nd order
2nd order of the Siberian hardneck garlic placed a month (11/14/22) after 1st order (10/18/22) was very disappointing. Considerably smaller in size. Received what appeared to be 5 1/2 bulbs instead of 7. Majority of bulbs were broken into pieces. Just not satisfied. The garlic received was planted and is currently coming up in my garden. Maybe this second order was leftover remnants. If you don't have enough to fill orders, don't take the orders after a certain point. Not sure what went wrong on vendors end. 1st order was spectacular. This vendor has a product consistency issue. ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Growing, growing, gone
Bought these last summer to grow our own garlic cuz we use tons in our family. Living in New York, did the research as to what kind is best to grow through the winter, and came back with these. We put them in the ground end of October, piled all out leaves on them as mulch, and have left them. Winter has been unique here this year so we haven't had a full ground freeze. We can see tips of the garlic shooting through the leaves in some spots. They came in a very basic white paper bag with 7 bulbs. Each bulb had close to 15 or so usable seed cloves. So far everything seems to be fine. We're excited to be able to harvest in the summer. Will post back again at that time. ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Waiting for results!
I planted these bulbs last fall, so we will see what happens this coming summer! I will report back again once they come up. I'm excited to have my first garlic patch. The bulbs seemed to be of good quality. Time will tell the tale.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars A good source of garlic!
I have been growing hard neck garlic for eighteen years, harvesting the bulbs in July and planting the cloves in October. For the first time, this year's harvest was really bad. So.... I am unable to plant the few bulbs harvested for next year's crop. I searched for a source of hard neck bulbs online and decided to order from "Big Tom Callahans Market" on Amazon. The order was promptly sent but a mistake was made with a portion being soft neck bulbs. Replacements were promptly shipped and I am ready to plant this year's crop in October. I recommend this garlic source whether you want it for planting or eating. ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Already sprouting!
Planted these and they are already coming up, as expected. Then they go to sleep for winter and awaken in the spring. So far, so good!
