This is the second or third pair of these glasses I have purchased and have loved them. I would have given them a 5 star except the last pair/s I bought were sturdier then this pair and were just overall better. This pair gets dirtier faster for some strange reason. Not sure why. This bothers me a lot as I'm contently having to clean them as much as 3 to 4 times a day. The others pair/s did not have this issue. It's weird. But, I will purchase another pair and hope they are more like the first one/s and not like this pair. Even with this issue, I do recommend these glasses. They work better than other brand I've owned. I'm not a bifocal glasses kind of guy. I need them though as I get older. The quality of these glasses is great. They look good, fit nice, and have nice clear lenses. Glad they are a value buy because I find it hard to wear them. It's not the glasses it's me. I've tried bifocals before and they make me ill. I was hoping I could use these this time. These Tri-Focals really work and they are not expensive. For more than 30 years I worked as a newspaper typesetter and always wore prescription glasses. I got to thinking about that and since having cataracks removed my vision changed. My vision changed and I only needed reading glasses. The one problem with that was that I was constantly lchanging glasses to different diopters. A 3.00 for reading, a 2.00 for the laptop computer and none to watch tv. That really got old and I when I checked on the availability of tri-focals on Amazon, I dicided to guy a pair. My 3 levels are clear, 2.00 and 3.00 diopters. These glasses are pretty good and now I'm not switching glasses all the time. You do have to look directly at whatever you are seeing or you will get distotred vision. This only takes a short time to do without thinking. These are not expensive and worth giving a try. ... show more

These glasses have worked better for me than the last 2 pairs I have gotten at opticals with a prescription. I wanted them for the larger close area for reading which are better than the small area on progressive lenses. Just wish there was more options on frames. I would recommend them.

Not the highest quality plastic and hinge. But a real value compared to $500 to $1000 glasses from the Optomotrist with simular plastic and hinges. Features most of the same features as overpriced optomotrist glasses, but limited to common magnifications.

These are good progressive lens readers and I have two pair: one pair that I'm using and one pair being cleaned in my ultrasondic cleaner. The problem I have is with the hinge screws which loosen and work their way up out of the hinge. Tightening them is only temporary as they work their way up withing one to two days. ... show more
