I have seen these many times and never thought about the purpose of them. Then one day I was on an airplane watching movies for a few hours, and that’s when I thought about these. I had painful eye strain from viewing so close and focusing in to a small area. I am using them now to look at my computer. I wear reading glasses, but not for the distance of my computer, so I tried these. They seem to make the screen clearer. I think. At any rate they make the screen less bright in my face. I have to wait until I go a an airplane again to see how they work as far as eye strain. This is a nice set of blue light glasses that come with little pouches to protect them. They are very lightweight and comfortable to wear, however the plastic feels kinda like dollar store quality.

    • Been wanting a pair of these kind of glasses for a while… so happy I have them!
So between my online job and when I like to unwind with a movie or playing video games, I end up spending a lot of time in front of various digital screens throughout the day and I can definitely tell my eyes have been affected by all the blue light exposure… I’ve been wanting a pair of these kind of glasses for a while and now that I have these pairs I love them! I definitely noticed a difference when I wear them… my eyes don’t feel as tired or get sore after looking at screens all day, and I even try to wear them before bed if I’m on my phone since blue light can also contribute to insomnia which I deal with so these have been super helpful with that too. And because I really wanted these glasses for the benefit of the blue light filtering I wasn’t to concerned about what they looked like but these frames are so cute, my favorite go-to pair are the leopard ones. And the fact that you get 3 pair (and the cute matching glasses sleeves) for this price is a great deal, especially since they’re comfortable, strong and seemed to be of good quality and made well. I really do love these blue light frames and would recommend getting these for yourself or even gifting a pair to a friend or family member.     • Super cute glasses – read the review to see how to use the test card/blue flashlight “bean”
I really wanted to like these but didn’t notice anything at all when I looked at the little “test card” to see if they’re working. Then I looked at other reviews and learned HOW to check - and wow do these work!! They don't come with instructions but shame on me for not fully unpacking the box. The test card doesn't do much on its own, you need to use the little blue "bean" (flashlight) and you put the glasses between the light and the card. The test area reacts to the blue light; my husband and I played with it and found the best way to tell was to shine the light on the card between the two lenses. The areas blocked by the glasses stays white and the "nose area" turns grey - thus showing that it's reacting to the blue light. MIND BLOWN! I was wearing them anyway (just in case) and can speak to their comfort and they are far more flattering than I expected. I'll have to see if they offer any "reading glasses" with a bit of magnification in the bargain! Now that I know they work the price is VERY reasonable, they were $14.99 ($4.99 / pair) at the time they were sent to me for review. ... show more

    • This is an Incredibly Complete Package
I had to binge read a number of online materials for a class I was working on, and let us just say that my eyes were feeling the effects. My previous pair of bluelight glasses had been misplaced, so I ordered these to have some spares just in case. For starters, this does not just include the 3 glasses... it comes with a sleeves and cleaning clothes for each of the glasses, as well as a blue light testing card and a blue light bean to test it with. Admittedly, I was not so sure what to do with the card, but after shinning the blue light on it, the card testing strip turns blue, so I guess it is meant to be held up to your screen to see how much blue light it is emitting. Regardless of its usage, the glasses turned out to be clutch. I did my final stretch of binge reading, and did not suffer the eye fatigue that I had before. This set of 3 came out cheaper than the 1 pair I had ordered and subsequently lost. So, I would say that this set fulfills multiple purposes... it gives you the blue light glasses you want, with sleeves and cloths to maintain them, and spares for if/when you misplace them.
