This was really easy to put together, even when completely stoned! Only screwed up the keyboard but whatever its all good. Its decent for the price and is great if you don't have a lot of space. I have an all in one desktop on mine and getting ready to add a 24 in tv as a second monitor. Seems to be pretty sturdy. Only gripe I have is they put a sticker of an arrow on the keyboard tray to show direction and when taking off the sticker it took of the paper finish that's over the particle board and now there is a big white spot. Ugh. I got the grey oak color and its really nice. A real nice change from the standard old black or brown look! Its an inexpensive little set up. You get what you pay for, its particle board. I like it and i like the look of it. It may have taken a much shorter amount of time to put together had i not decided to smoke bowls throughout the process, it might have taken a half hour to put together. But as it was, it took me 4 hours instead of 30mins, but in defense of myself, i kept losing the parts, its time consuming trying to figure out where those little itty bitty screws and such are and then of course when you pick up the boards to assemble, the cam bolts like to fall out and then you're trying to figure where those puppies landed. See? just put the darn thing together straight and it'll all be good , unless of course you dont mind it taken forever and a day to get such a small thing together! Cheers! ... show more

I work from home and needed a small desk the could fit in my apartment. This was perfect. The instructions weren’t hard to follow and I was able to assemble it by myself. The desk is a bit short/low. But that’s fine by me as I’m only 5’4. It’s not super heavy and the material it’s made from is cheap but that’s to be expected given the price. My only gripe is that there’s no holes in the back to put the wire from my devices through. I had to put everything under the back panel and use zip ties to get everything as neatly as possible together. Also, while putting together the part for the sliding drawer/keyboard holder that part was confusing as the rails weren’t marked with numbers but instead letters. I had to guess and hope that the rail I was screwing into place was the correct one. The illustration wasn’t much better as it didn’t have the right number of holes on the rails. But other than that, I had no issues. The desk is nice and will serve it’s intended purpose. ... show more

This is a great desk when assembled. I'm using it as an electronics workbench and a soldering station. Works really well in tight spaces such as my tiny home office. That said, here are some of the things I ran into with pictures to back them up. 1. The assembly instructions abruptly end at Step 10. All steps to attach the top surfaces and lock them are missing. If you are mechanically inclined and have assemble IKEA furniture before, you must be able to complete the rest without further instructions. Otherwise, you may end up getting stuck all the way at the end of the assembly. 2. The horizontal members are attached to the vertical members using wood screws. I am not sure why the designers went for such a bad idea. Three things can happen as a consequence of this decision. One. The screws go into the particle board. If you do not provide adequate support while threading the screws in, you may end up destroying the particle board. I pre-drilled the screws in before I assembled the members together and this definitely helped to put the desk together without the help of a second person. Two. The fact that the vertical members are held in by the screws will make this table unsuitable on fluffy carpeted floors. As there is really no flat surface on such carpets, the desk will sway side to side by tiny amounts during its lifetime. This may cause the screw holes to enlarge in the wood, leading to the desk going rickety over time Three. For the very same reason, this desk is not meant to be dragged on carpeted floors. Better thing would be to lift them for relocation, and then not move them too much once they are in place. But once done, this desk is a real life saver for tight spots and really looks great! ... show more

The desk is sturdy and easy to put together, you don’t even need two people less than 30 minutes and it’s the perfect size for my two work from home monitors. It’s lightweight definitely worth the money.
