I make custom wood signs. I was using a more expensive stencil vinyl that was made by the company that makes my machine. No matter what I did, paint bled under the stencil. This stuff is great! No bleeding, and I don’t have to do anything else special to prevent it, a total time saver for me. It is really sticky, so after painting it took a little more time to pull it up but it’s totally worth it...bleeding paint is frustrating. I purchased a 12" x 50' stencil vinyl roll from Friscocraft and wow what an amazing deal. We definitely got the bang for our buck. Not only did we get a good amount to last us some time but we also purchased quality. I was very skeptical at first to purchase but like anything else you will never know until you try and man did we make a good choice. It's very thin and has no problem sticking to my work. I also like how flexible it is so I can maneuver it into the creases of my projects and it keeps durability throughout and doesn't tear easily. It adheres to the project and doesn't lift and haven't had any problems with paint bleeding through. When I'm done stenciling and ready to remove it, it comes off in one piece and doesn't tear into a hundred little pieces. So no scratching your project trying to remove those pesty little pieces that would be stuck there from other brands of stencil I've used in the past. Overall this is by far the best vinyl stencil I've used to date. It's sold at a very good price with great quantity, outstanding quality, as well as durability. This will be our only go to stencil vinyl from now on and I know we won't be disappointed and will be able to produce the best works of art to deliver to our customers. I was very surprised with this vinyl! I wasn’t sure it was going to work, but I was pleasantly surprised! This is thinner than regular vinyl, but it’s easy to work with. I like that it shows the bubbles underneath, because you can see how well it is adhering. It has great stickiness-not too much, not too little. It peels up very well after I’ve stenciled, and doesn’t rip into a million different pieces when I’m removing it. There are only 2 cons about this. 1. You have to be careful when scraping it around the letters. If you scrape too hard, it actually catches on the letters and pulls the vinyl. 2. It is VERY difficult to see when it’s on dark wood. It was a little difficult lining it up to the edge of the black wood, but nothing too serious. Overall, I would purchase it again to use in my lighter colored wood. I found this product by accident. I was looking for the harder plastic stencil material for glass etching. I saw this and decided to give it a try. I did several projects before leaving this review. I am hooked. Once I figured out the cut settings on my cameo this has been a wonderful product. It cuts nicely, sticks wonderfully, removes easily. There was no bleed around the edges which left nice crisp lines and was very easy to use on rounded items. I am never going back to the regular stencils and messy adhesive spray. ... show more
